Lovely clean rooms
Staff were very friendly, food was good, room was good size and better than most I've stayed in.
Great place for accomodationa and service. Has been turned around by recent management changes
Very comfortable and clean. Room size was huge. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here next trip.
Lunch could be better if they attempted to care. Lots of complaint's.
Fantastic place to stay. I've been meaning to stay here for years. I love how they are part of Accor. The welcome drinks and water are always a nice touch for Accor status members. Rooms are huge and the bathroom was recent renovated. There is a late check in process (which was handy from the long drive from Sydney). The resort has nice facilities (including a guest laundry) and on the Saturday there was a market at the front of the property and we had some delicious burgers from Dave's BBQ. We will definately be coming back!
The rooms are filthy. The food is poor, and the service is very, very slow. The menu is overpriced, and so are the drinks.
Disappointed in small tv but a beautiful place to stay
The rooms are lovely, freshly appointed and stylishly renovated. The hotel is set on beautiful grounds and my room had a gorgeous outlook.
The only downside was the service. Cassie was quite rude upon my arrival. I had phoned the motel to say i was on my way and would pay when i get there (she said that was fine and would see me soon). I got there and said who i was and her tone immediately changed and said "youre one of the ones we have been waiting to hear from". I said "excuse me? I rang 3 hours ago and spoke to you and said i was on my way" sure enough the tones goes back to friendly and she said "oh yes! Thats right" what the hell??
The breakfast was delicious in the morning but when we went to check out (there was about 20 of us all leaving together) there was no one at the desk so we left our room keys and went on our way. This was fine but I would normally get a tax invoice at this moment so i can settle my work credit card quickly. Well i didnt expect it to take 2 WEEKS for this invoice to come through, one that should be automatically sent withour numerous phone calls asking where it is.
For a place so bloody expensive a night they really need to pull their socks up. Ive had much nicer stays at the local caravan park, at least theyre friendly and you get an invoice when you check in!
Best facilities in Mudgee... renovated rooms, well presented bathrooms, a lot of space.
Large indoor pool and spa. Basic gym.
Location just having troubles with staff, post covid, so just be patient.
Nice clean and friendly staff recommended if your in Mudgee
I had a great time. Fabulous pool fabulous everything. When I went to the vine bar restaurant the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I would go back there next time because all of the above and the prices were so cheap
We found the Parklands Resort on WotIf after having given up booking with hotels in the region directly. (It seems they all insist upon a 2 night stay on the weekends, and we only wanted the one night).
Our first-floor room (204) was spacious and well-appointed, with a VERY modern bathroom.
I liked that the room opens to a balcony overlooking the pond and the rest of the resort - it would have been lovely to have spent the evening there, enjoying an "in-room" meal. (I would have liked to have left that door ajar overnight to help air-flow, but we couldn't do so in a way that wouldn't compromise our security).
We dined in the restaurant instead, and the food (both variety and quality) and service were excellent. We followed with a nightcap under the stars on the terrace out the front of the restaurant. ($9 for a shot of Baileys on ice).
Our trip to Mudgee was just a quick overnight stay, but we have no qualms recommending the place to others, and will happily return on our next pass through the town.
Great location central to everything around Mudgee. Tidy clean rooms, good breakfast. Convenient parking.
Cheap but very old rooms could do with a revamp but quite cosy
A beautiful resort only a few minutes out of Mudgee (Stunning location). Has a pool, which is fantastic, and amazing rooms! Tennis courts are good too, and the gardens are picturesque. Rooms are spacious, and clean. Nice service and staff also
Great place to stay whilst in Mudgee. Stayed for 3 nights in a clean refurbished room, great amenities, convenient location close to the town centre and many of the wineries as well. Only thing is that rooms are not soundproof as you can hear people next door when it s quiet. Would recommend staying here when visiting Mudgee!!
We stayed overnight in February and had 3 upstairs rooms. All the rooms were great - no complaints. They were spacious and opened to a very spacious verandah where we were able to sit and have a drink on arrival and have a birthday cake after dinner.
The dinner in the restaurant was very nice and served in a timely manner even though there was a busload of guests also dining.
We would stay there again.
nice resort. Dining was average. Asked for medium rare scotch fillet and was given a well done one. Had staff barge into my room to replace the menu before I could even get to the door.
Great value. Very clean. Nice location - just two mins from town but we have ducks and cows.
Good place but staff needs to be more professional and trained.
The food awful and got everything wrong and went from last time 1 $ credit card charge to 100 $ credit card charge and meant to put it bak and still haven't 4 days later Grrr never again will I stay here
Been working there cleaning rooms looks like nice place friendly people
Room was great. But amenities is really minimum. No shower cap, cotton buds, etc provided.
Poor value for $257 p/n. Staff really friendly and helpful but decor really dated and both grounds and rooms long overdue a refresh.
Location is superb. Zero Wifi connection though - a bit strange for a conference centre. If you re looking for a modest accommodation with no plans to stay in, then book with confidence.
Beautiful surroundings.
The rooms have had a complete face lift.
Nice place to stay, a short distance out of the town centre.
Webpage advertised superior room with large claw foot baths. I paid $336 for one night superior king room. Apon arrival no bath, not even Foxtel. Ordered breakfast in bed for 8:30 am. Arrived cold at 9:00 am and meal was terrible. Food was slapped together with no love at all. Coffee was undrinkable. Would not recommend, overpriced and overrated. Cannot recommend
Huge room. Great rate and restaurant. Very professional staff. Comfort all round.
Great place to stay when visiting mudgee. Rooms were clean. Service nice. The hot breakfast probably needs a little extra. The kids loved the indoor swimming pool Overall experience is was excellent definitely will stay again.
Not too bad. No milk in the room, had to go to reception to get some for a morning coffee. Tiles around the pool are ridiculously slippery. My wife slipped over due to these tiles. These really need to replace as they are completely unsuitable for poolside tiles.
Modern design. Professional staff. Still unable to have dinner and required to outsource in town.
Great service and food. Nice and quiet for family get together
Great hotel and not far from town- 20 min walk. Nor from vineyards! Very Clean & tidy. Rooms were very nice - stayed in superior room with my sister, and I believe recently refurbished (room, not sister). Staff really friendly and breakfast was a buffet and yum!
It was Groupon deal and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others.
We stayed 5 nights commencing Jan 19th 2014. The pool area was very unclean and the pot plants were dead. The back outdoor seating area tables were dusty and again the plants were dead. The wooden seating on our balcony area had an arm snapped off. Old fashioned noisy air-conditioner in the rooms. Towels washed and clean but stained - needed replacing. Very spacious room, great location, lady working at breakfast very friendly. Resort lovely from the front, disappointing once inside. Definitely NOT 4*.
This rattling all night as the air con was unimpressive... the only way to adjust it is to stand on a chair.. not what i paid over $200 a night for.
Toilet paper cheap and nasty... bathroom in poor condition and we ran out of hot water. Breakfast very basic indeed
Staff were very friendly, the room was well worth it considering we got an upgrade, and the breakfast was worth paying for even if the coffee was a bit cool. Should have paid for the Cappacino!
Lovely large sized, clean comfortable rooms with a lovely aspect. Quiet location with really comfortable beds. Dinner at the restaurant was very disappointing.
I love it here great food great rooms they have it all its a great place to be
If you like 80s budget comfort this place is for you
Great setting, great food and choice. Rooms are big beds OK. The air-conditioners are noisy, bright daylight lights on veranda deter having curtains open at night. Traffic noise between 4am and 6am is astonishing. We hope they address this issue with the planned renovation!
We stayed here for two days while attending my nephews wedding. The rooms are spacious, and the layout of the place is excellent. The concept of this place is very well thought out. Unfortunately, the place has been let go. The beds in our room were very old and worn out. My wife had to sleep in the single bed. The old window rattlers are tired and just function. There is a general dirty run-down feel about the place. You could tell that it was once a grand building and amazing when it was first built. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and its in a great setting. So I will be back when its done up.
A nice resort just minutes outside of Mudgee. The hotel rooms are large, clean and comfortable with a nice outdoor seating.
In terms of facilities, the Resort should upgrade. Basic gym and a small indoor pool is not what I expect in a 'resort'. There would be plenty of space for a nice outdoor pool with a terrace.
Due to Covid there was no breakfast buffet and we could only order a single hot dish or toast. If you want more food or a second cup of coffee or tea, you have to pay extra. Not something that would happen at a buffet. It felt very stingy.
The outdoor terrace has potential but without bar facilities and music it lacks atmosphere.
All in all, a nice room, but the facilities could use some upgrading.
Comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. Very central to city centre and the local wineries and restaurants.
Just outside of Mudgee town centre. Nice accommodation. Bathroom shower/bath a bit out dated. But it's overnight. They provide a complementary drink at their Bar and they have a complimentary continental breakfast. Hot breakfast extra. It's close to the wineries.
The room is nice and the beds comfortable but the walls are so thin that we could hear our neighbours making their tea.
Nice comfortable place to stay large open grounds shared balcony veranda.
The restaurant was fair
Food not cook to order but the seared scallops were beautiful
Needs a solid renovation of the older rooms but comfortable and well placed for a short walk into town.
It was comfortable, had a decent amount of space and had all the general appliances in the kitchen you may need.
I always stay here in Mudgee. Great food and excellent dervice and very comfortable clean rooms.
We didn't expect to pay $180 for a shared room, we were wondering if the three million flies habitating the room had also paid the same price. The en suite bathroom smelled like a swamp and was unusable, I suspect the swamp fauna were hurling themselves from the ensuite floor waste.
Nice place to stay in terms of rooms and close to town nice views, but pretty expensive for what it is. Food at the restaurant very average and the wifi is awful! It's suppose to be a business/ conference centre so assumed it would have good wifi, we wanted to work from.tje hotel but had to hot spot from our phones! Don't WFH here!
Clean comfy friendly only thing was poor lighting in the room. Difficult to apply makeup, need brighter lights in bathroom
.
Indifferent when it comes to food coming out of the kitchen. Very very very salty
Nice large rooms at a nice location with easy access to the surrounding wineries
We return here regularly. Tennis, Frisbee golf and even a small pool and gym. Rooms have been done up since last year. Close to town and wineries
Located in large well kept grounds in winery region just outside Mudgee town centre. Room a good size, clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities as well as a mini bar. Continental breakfast included. Bathroom comes with bath and shower. Restaurant located on site.
Cleanliness could be improved and the bathrooms are in need of renovation. Restaurant meal was under par. Salad was dry. Looked like it had been sitting out on the bench for sometime. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Quality tea in the room. Looks inviting from the road but needs a little work on the upkeep around the property.
Love this place, room came with full English breakfast and was close to wineries and Mudgee town , it has a pool and spa and sauna and hire bikes onsite
We recently stayed in one of the 'refurbished' rooms looking out towards the water fountain. 4 day stay. It was ok.
The room was tidy, but needed dusting as the room appeared it has not been used for quite sometime probably due to closures during the height of Covid-19.
The bin next to the minibar was full and had not been emptied for quite sometime.
At night it was quite noisy, the noise from the upper and adjoining rooms resonated and at times it sounded as if someone was dropping a large hammer and dragging it on bare concrete. Everytime someone opened the back sliding doors this would create a noise similar to a near by train rumbling. That was at 1am.
Front desk reception was a little slow.
All in all, good stay. Location was great, very close to the main city centre roughly a 6min drive.
Would probably stay here again.
What an amazing experience. My husband took me out to the restaurant for a valentines dinner. We got there and where welcomed by wait staff the minute we stepped in the door. The waitresses where very accommodating and explained the menu with ease. The menu offered alot of variety. Our pork belly entree was devine as were our mains and the desserts just topped off a great night . The service by the staff was of very high standard. The food was nicely presented with minimal wait time. We will definately be returning. Well done Parklands and thank you for making our visit enjoyable. Highly reccommend you give it a visit.
Older like most things in Mudgee, but good location, good value and rental bikes are good
Good size rooms, close to town, but matress needs renewing
