Wow, best location in Mendoza and best breakfast without competition. Absolutely fabulous foyer, great view from rooms... just excellent
We have just spent a week staying in this lovely hotel
Firstly, the service is second to none. Everyone is friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing is too much bother.
Secondly, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. There is a large selection of food on offer. We had afternoon tea and it was excellent. Gabrielle and Veronica in the bar were attentive and engagi Ng.
Thirdly, we had a large mountain view room. Excellent views. It was large and spotlessly clean.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mendoza looking for a 5 star experience.
A grand old hotel for sure but showing its age. The reception staff were some of the best I've encountered anywhere. The spa is also very good with a nicely equipped gym and swimming pool and large changing rooms.
Breakfast was a large selection although the hot food was disappointing - tough rubbery bacon.
The bedroom I found somewhat disappointing. They really need to start updating and modernizing the rooms. The air conditioning was barely adequate and the bathroom poorly laid out. No tea or coffee making facilities either.
It's a nice hotel for sure but just needs bringing up to date.
Spacious, well-appointed, corner room. Double-sink bath, safe in room for passports, valuables. Excellent dining.
Location is amazing, views towards the Andes are a delight every single day. The rooms are large and comfortable and the service is kind, polite and enthusiastic. We enjoyed the pool and spa, as well as the restaurants within walking distance. A gem of a hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Mendoza!
Great service, beautiful facilities, excellent concierge.
Leila and I splurged on the diplomatic in Mendoza after a couple weeks 'roughing it' in Patagonia. The hotel was more expensive than usual and full of brazillians because it was a holiday in Brazil.
We used the hotel as a base for exploring the wine country around Mendoza using, in part, recommendations from the concierge.
We really enjoyed the pool and sauna facilities after some long cold hikes in Torres del Paine.
Top notch hotel. Everything was perfect. Lovely large room with office desk, lovely bathtub and a shower with bath salts supplied. Pool was cold (early feb2018) a gym and loads of choice for breakfast. Worth a stop here.
