Park Place By The Bay Review

I have lived in Park place by the bay for a while. It s has an amazing building community, is very pet friendly and has family events.

Me and my wife been living here for almost nine years. We re happy, comfortable and feel safe.. The management is very accessible and friendly.

Coming from an urban/building background, and after a three year stint, this was one of the worst living experiences in my life. First, there are four elevators to serve 400 plus apartments, which is already an under-service. Add to that, the fact that at least one or more elevators are out of service at any given time. Recently, an elevator was broken for two whole months.

Despite having resident bulletin boards, building management is constantly sticking notes in doors, with all sorts of reminders, instead of putting them in the mailboxes -- totally unprofessional.

In addition, the neighborhood is bad -- rife with panhandlers, and there have been assaults around the area at night. Not safe for young men and women.

Finally, PMI management, the company that runs this building and about forty others in south Florida, has brutally intolerant rules for tenants and any perceived violation of them could result in heavy fines. The rental contract resembles a real estate purchase, and management will not work with you.

About the only good thing I can say is that the maintenance staff does a good job in keeping up with the apartments, which are long, long overdue for renovation, and keeping the premises clean.

For what they charge for rent, it's just not worth it. Look elsewhere.

Good property that's located in not the best neighborhood

I've lived here for 4 years now, and I've had nothing but great service from management and staff. A huge improvement from 4 years ago, and expect it to improve in the following years as the area grows with shopping and new transportation.

I have lived in this place for 4 years and my experience with all the services has been excellent. Leo who is the manager is always willing to listen to your concerns and solve issues, in the same way Angelica is always willing to guide you if you have questions. Maria and Carolina also. The maintenance staff is one of the best work teams that I have seen. The times I have needed to repair the answer is quick and the guys are very nice. I love this place, it's clean, the people friendly and all the staff that manages the different areas are very efficient.
If I could put more than 5 stars I would do it because it is a good place to live, the location is perfect

I love the building, excellent location and the prices even better. It's super Quiet, Carol is the best She serves you super just like the boys at the front desk.

Only good thing about this place was the pool. Management staff and procedures are terrible. They do not take responsibility for anything theit mistakes. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great community in which they strive to establish a cozy and well managed environment. Management staff are very punctual about issues with repair. Very cost effective renting.

avoid at all cost! the management for this property does not care about their residents at all. they make their residents wait literally MONTHS to get any type of maintenance done (the keyfob system that is supposed to keep the property locked up and secure has NOT been working at all, and its been well over a month now) yet if you are a few CENTS short on your rent youre getting an immediate 3-day eviction notice on your door. this place is the cheapest place to live in downtown for a reason, avoid if you want to live somewhere worthwhile

I ve lived here for 3 years, no complaints. I ve dealt with management, I ve dealt with Leo and I ve never had a serious problem. Seems like a bunch of entitled Miamians live here, of course. If you don t put the parking pass in the dash, guess what? Your car will get towed... it says it on the pass. You get a 2/2 here for $1,600.... that s a studio in surrounding areas. Its a great value, y all must go to Wal-Mart and complain about customer service too huh? And how is the customer service bad? You guys must go to the office with attitude and expect someone to kiss your ass or something because I ve never had a problem. When I put a work order in someone is knocking at the door the next day.

Efficient and fair leasing process. Gated community with a decent gym and pool.No problems or drama to move in. Im very happy with a great view and balcony, and the best of all...they are Pets friendly !!! Love it.

Well. I really wanted to see this place. Great location and good reviews. My wife and I had three scheduled dates to tour the place. The first two were cancelled because some emergency meeting. The third and second time coming to the property I was told that Karol was off and there was nothing for me. The guy seating there obviously did not know I was coming and was not prepared and shown little to none customer service, rude, and unprofessional. I hope Leo sees this and does something about it. 3 times wasted my time and not one apology about it. Terrible service 02.15.19
