The Pyrenees, this wild border, one of the most beautiful natural spectacles to see in France.
The National Park is huge. Edelweiss, golden eagles, vultures, marmots, bears, glaciers and thick forests of fir or beech, in short, a paradise of nature.

A place very easy to access with very nice ballads to do for all ages and all levels

Beautiful landscapes, wild mountains, splendid vegetation.

While in Lourdes, we did two excursions on our own to the Pyrenees, one to Gavarnie and the other to Pont d Spagne, Cauterets Regional Park of the Pyrenees. It is less than an hour from Lourdes by car and once you get to the Pont de spagne there is a parking of 7 euros and there begins the path to Lake Gaube and if you want to walk more you can go up to the cirque de oulette which is what which is seen at the bottom of the lake.

Very beautiful sites with the colors of autumn unfortunately the lakes lack water due to the drought which takes away part of the charm of the Pyrenees National Park
