What to say ?? Our Pyrenees are beautiful
Enforce the national park with bivouac too often like camping, schedules not respected, dogs ...

A ray of sunshine on the early snow sprinkled here and there .. reunion, the evocation of the past ... a good time!

It will be at least the fourth time I've climbed the Pyrenees range, and I'm always fascinated by it. I had never been here, and assisted by the good weather (fortunately, I have always found it beautiful), I took simple but satisfying walks and in a camper I had lunch in truly breathtaking places. Le cirque de Gavarnie makes you marvel at the beauty and sense of majesty. A praise to Gavarnie for the camper parking area. Usually I never stop outside the campsite, but here it was a must due to the lack of them. Clean, with easy loading and unloading, and great views.

Family resort at the top

Beautiful park ideal for hiking or mountain biking from Laruns for example. The area is recommended for rest and sports holidays.

The French part of the Pyrenees is home to an extensive national park full of beautiful trails. In general, it is greener and has more unevenness than the Spanish part

Beautiful places, we have made several hikes with the family and we marveled each time. We met donkeys, cows, horses, sheep and even llamas !!!

Nice resort, apart from parking problems near rental housing

Hiking trails well marked and nature preserved. My favorite places: Gavarnie, bridge of Spain, refuge of marcadet, the fruit in Cauterets.

Just a little bit of nature but otherwise very nice to walk.

Superb mountain bike ride and beautiful viewpoint at the top

The lakes of Ayous at the foot of the superb Pic du Midi Ossau at once imposing and slender. A theater of nature where torrents snaking at the bottom of the valleys but also small channels filled with fresh water that rushes at its own pace across the grassy slopes to reach below the beautiful forests of fir trees and trees. beeches in autumnal colors. In winter, the national park is a rather difficult area to penetrate because very little accessible but beautiful. On the other hand the municipal police of Bareges shows a rather twisted zeal by putting Pv of parking on very, very largely questionable places. So the Pyrenees National Park yes. But do not leave a euro in the shops of Bareges. Shame on the Toys to let such people act. Too bad for the inn of Louisette.
