It was a pretty venue, food was decent, and the show was very good.

But it was insanely crowded -- even getting a picture with a relatively empty background at the beach was difficult. I also was disappointed that they had a lot of photo ops but they only sell hard copies. The whole tiers or event experience felt like a class system when we were entering the luau.

Overall it was too expensive for the experience, I felt and am definitely not doing it again.

AwEsOmE show! The performers were great and you got to take pictures with them afterwards. They gave you so much food, no limit! You just had to pay for your drinks. Furthermore, they provided you with a 25 dollar gift card to buy souvenirs with or towards your alcohol purchases! The venue had many attractions for you to do while waiting for the luau Out to start!!

Last time we came to Paradise Cove was about 9 years ago, and it still was a great experience! The activities were fun, dinner was delicious and the show was amazing! Highly recommended! And was just down the street from our resort!

Such a wonderful experience!! There was an activity for everyone to engage in before the dinner (parrot photography, temporary tattoos, watching the waves crash along the beach). The show was entertaining and fun. The buffet was filling. We saw one of the prettiest sunsets during our time in Hawaii here. I would recommend this luau if you're on Oahu!

Entertainment was great! The actors were fun and engaging. The photo above is of the pits where the pigs were roasted and of the stage for one of the many performances. The pork, baked chicken and fish were delicious. The rest of the food was rather ordinary and appeared to be from the bulk section at the big box store...a bit disappointing. Overall, a pleasant evening and fun tourist activity.

Good spot for family and a fun night out drinking with your group. Pre-game with drinks if you plan on sipping as the Hawaiian drinks are costly but they're also very delicious/ono. Always funner if you partake in the activities and let loose.

Had a fun time for the whole family. From the time you step off the bus they try to get you involved in all the activities for the evening. They have a full bar and there is plenty of food. Chicken, pulled pork, Mahi Mahi fish. And while you are there you are treated like family. And you are right at the ocean so you will see a beautiful sunset.

Warning for migraine sufferers: Went with someone who suffers from migraines, and we had to leave early. Not only were the lights were too harsh from where we were sitting (we had wing seating), but also they turned the white lights on full brightness from complete darkness a couple times during the show which set off their migraine.

Hosted about 1,000 people the night we went. Has face-painting, spear-throwing, "bowling," and some other kids' activities. Food was good, not great. Had to stand in line for over 20 minutes to get a cocktail. Top-notch entertainment - Hawaiian dancing, fire juggling, music.

From the time we were picked up at our hotel to our return. We were treated like long lost cousins. What great fun for the whole family. Worth your time. Food was outstanding. Lived the chicken and the pork.

Show was great, food was not so good, you could tell the pig was cooked in some sort of a crock pot there was no crisp crunchy skin to be found, chicken was ok, Drinks watered down, luau food at Royal Hawaiian hotel much better.

We got our tickets at the NWR. The show was excellent. I just didn't know what to expect, never having been to a luau. Very educational show, as in the do try to teach you the culture during the show.

Kind and hilarious bus tour guide, and a quick bus ride to paradise cove. The setting was right next to a beautiful blue beach which was perfect for photos. There was also a beach you could sit on and even swim in. There was a wide range of activities which catered for all ages. The complimentary mai tais were delicious and offered a small taste of Hawaiian culture, whether it was with or without alcohol. The dinner was fantastic, especially the pork. Maybe there could ve been more traditional Hawaiian dishes alongside the pork and poi, since it was a luau, but it still tasted well. Finally, the show was absolutely phenomenal, with fire dancing and captivating dancing, complimented by the wonderful singers. I definitely recommend the Paradise Cove Luau to anyone wanting to experience an afternoon packed with fun and Hawaiian tradition!!

Yes it's a tourist attraction, but was still worth it. We did the deluxe tickets and actually had a really nice time. You get table service instead of the buffet with the deluxe. Was pricy but we both agree it was worth it. We made a Lei and head piece. Had plenty of drinks, as we each got a $24 gift card that is included with the ticket. Great photo opportunities. It is right on the beach at sunset. They also offered free canoe rides which were busy.

Great location. They get you there in time to take wonderful sunset pictures. Take your camera. The food was good enough to eat. Take the shuttle it's only $16 round trip, cousin pheefee was very entertaining.

Awesome luau. Basically activities then dinner and many shows. There are many free activities such as boat rides and spear throwing. They teach you how to do the Hawaiian dances. There are little events they pur on such as a guy climbing a palm tree in like 10 seconds. The dinner was amazing, buffet style. The show was wonderful, featured shows from different islands.

Spring for the Royal Box. Get table service, a private hula dance, and sweet sweet overhead fans for those humid days. Food is good. Entertainment is amazing. The drinks are weak, but tasty.

I've been many times (all my mainland family loves a luau) and would recommend it over the others on the island (Polynesian Cultural Center is a very close second). Lots of opportunity for discounted tickets, so never pay full price (I get mine through ITT at the NEX).

Over all, a solid 9/10. Get there early and enjoy the pre-performance games and activities (a real plus if you have kids). Enjoy your stay on Oahu, and ALOHA!!!

Very commercialized and tourist-driven. The food was the worst I ve had on our trip to O ahu. Dancing and entertainment during the main show was neat and the only reason I m giving it at least two-stars. It felt like a Hawaiian carnival - would not recommend.

It was alright. It felt very touristy. The lady in the parking lot was very rude to us about which way we turned into the parking lot. Before the actual meal began, it was kind of awkward just wandering around. Once the show began, it was more fun. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend showing up before 6 pm as there isn't much to do.

My wife and I have been living on island for a few months. We typically avoid the tourist attractions but recently had some friends come down that insisted we go to a luau. We decided on this one and made the drive over. I hate crowds and don t typically venture anywhere with lots of people, but this was a bit different. Yes there was nearly 400
People there, but it wasn t the typical rubbing elbows experience I ve come to expect. The seating wasn t cramped. But that s the most insignificant thing to talk about. The facility was clean and very pleasant to be in, the show was great! And the food was incredible. We got to enjoy the birds and have some great conversation with the bird handler.
My wife enjoyed getting some body art done by one of the very talented performers, they were down to earth and didn t give us the typical yeah-yeah tourist answers. I couldn t be more impressed with the experience especially not for what I d call a really reasonable price. Many thanks to paradise cove and it s entertainers.
