I reviewed 6 mos ago. Pantano has a for Tucson. Messages and Worship rock. It may take time to find a small group that fits. Many groups to choose from. I attend the Sat men's group and my wife and I attend a group.

It's been a difficult time for everyone but there is a bright spot. Pantano is a very kind and generous church. Thank you for your serve the city project last year. I was just looking over the pictures of what you all did for my family and I wanted to just say you all are a wonderful example of God's love! All the people that came and helped were so kind I wish I lived closer to your church, for those of you in the neighborhood, you would love the people there. Check it out
Children s ministry - definitely 5 star. Its a big church and we've gone for about 13 years. Associate pastors have all been great. The church being so big makes it easy to be lost in the crowd. I don't think in 12 years anyone from the church staff has called once on the phone to see how me or my family are doing. If I ran the place there would be a staff member on the phone ALL THE TIME checking up on people and getting them plugged in. I'm not saying its the churches responsibility to come looking for me - but the point is if I'm not aggressively looking to get plugged in that its easy to fall away and disappear without anyone looking knowing or caring. We haven't gone in a month or two, and I don't think anybody has noticed. That said there are the positives of LOTS of various group options and things to do if you look for them. Best Regards.
Thank you so much for being there for me and my children and a dire time of need you did not turn your back on us like so many have you welcomed us with open arms we will be back again God bless you
My husband are looking for a church that teaches the whole word of God, I was noticing that you have a Tuesday yoga class, how can you say it's ok to go to yoga classes when they clearly come from eastern pagan religion, also I have noticed that people have said that they come and get "lost" in the crowd, how are people supposed to get help if they are new Christians, we are not new Christians and found that when we attended your church that was true, also I noticed that you ONLY send comments when people say something good about your church, I told my husband that i wanted to try again, but from the comments i read it seems that you haven't changed, this is very sad and disappointing to me, all I can say is that we are living in the time Paul spoke of in 2nd Timothy 3:1-9
I loved my experience there. Members were so friendly and the navigation through the church to be sure it was the right path for me as a member was very refreshing! I think I will be here for a while!
Tolerant and welcoming church. When the pastor at my longtime church went to mission in Canada I asked him for a recommendation and he told me about Pastor Glenn at Pantano. Its a hard time in my life right now, and although its a huge church and I am still only sporadically attending, Pastor Glenn remembers my name and greets me each time I am there. Don't know how he does it. Instead of shying away from the foibles of the faithful, I have heard several sermons on this very topic, and heard the speakers share painful personal stories. I put great stock in such things. That's a hard topic to bridge, and it shows trust from the top down, and the bottom up of the congregation to deal with serious subjects. I have never once felt that politics was put in the way of The Word, and is only used to illustrate the painful divides that people erect between themselves.
I have been going to this church since i was five. The first day i didn't want to go, but after the service i didn't want to leave. They are always welcoming to anyone. There are also many volunteer opportunities that can make a big impact. So come out here and try it today.
Great church with many options for non-traditional attendance. They webcast the services online and also televise the service in the cafe in the Coop Court.
I have now attended Pantano Christian Church for about 6 months. I have found it is a wonderful church and I would recommend it for new church goers as much as I would to regular church goers. If you are interested in more detail please read on . First I am not on staff or in any leadership role. Also I am not a volunteer at the church either. I go to church and enjoy the service. I attended a home group off and on. Now that you have an idea of what my involvement is like, let me express what I have seen and experienced. First I am welcomed warmly every Sunday, and even have some greeters seek me out to say good morning. The service is wonderful if you listen to KLOVE 88.1, sometimes they play a worship song you would hear on KLOVE. The service is contemporary upbeat and very positive. At the same time Pantano presents God s word in a loving and honest way, in essences they keep it real, but always point to Jesus and His loving truth in the Bible. You may wonder is Pantano the right fit for me. Now if you are one who is not sure about where your relationship with God is, or even do not know God at all Pantano is the place for you. Pantano is all about living life better, having a better relationship with God and all the people around us. You can get involved with an almost unlimited number of outreach programs through the church, or you can volunteer in the church and so much more, or not like me. Come to Pantano for the service just how I do. There are those who may not like Pantano s style of presentation. I have heard that some of the older crowd and the more traditional church goers can find it a little loud, and maybe too contemporary for what they are use to. The great thing is Pantano understands that not every church is a good fit; I have heard that Pantano will even help people find a church that suits them. I know this is getting quite long, so I would say come as you are and see if you can find a great connection at Pantano like I did. May the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you and yours always.
You definitely get lost in the crowd. I would also love to see the scriptures quoted more. . . .I think it is just a little too big for my family and I.
It's difficult to find words to explain how Pantano Christian Church has influenced and strengthened my relationship with Christ over the years. I love everything about PCC, from how God speaks through the pastors, to how I feel accepted without having to dress formal, to the cultural diversity, the many different small groups that are offered, the great children classes available, the open baptisms, the baby dedications and the friendly volunteers in many different positions. I feel blessed to call Pantano Christian Church my family in Christ! Loving people to Jesus and launching passionate people out into the world to make a difference is the mission statement and exactly what this church is about.
This a wonderful place to get to know God. Come as you are. You don't have to "clean up your act" to join us, just come. God wants you right where you're at. If there's something He wants to clean up in you, He'll handle it and show you the way.
Been years, Pastor Koop at that time, now i believe it is Pastor Glenn. I want to go back, but i am an hour away. Love this place for worship! Actually made it today and Pastor Farr was fantastic.
Bible teaching church with excellent leadership. This church is thoughtful, intentional, and loving. IncanI count how many times a sermon or song has convicted me and spoke truth into my heart and mind. The child care is impeccable. They provide a safe and fun atmosphere for the kids. You can get breakfast or lunch between services.
I would just like to share how happy and thrilled I was to be here today. My first time in church in over 30 years. The facilities are amazing, the people even more amazing. Didnt know what to expect but was made to feel right at home. Loved every minute of it. Cant wait till next Sunday. I would also like to personally thank Anita for being so wonderful during my orientation and would like to thank Ron for taking time out to pray with us right there on the spot. Incredibly generous and caring people. Exactly what I need in my life right now at the lowest point of my life. Thank you to my brother Brandon for bringing me but we all know it was Jesus working through him to bring me here and I just cant be any happier. Thank you again everyone and you have my gratitude and God Bless you all!
Loving people, lots of activities and groups to connect with, Good sounding modern contempory/rock style musical worship songs, communion offered every service, free NIV bibles, free pens, Holy Spirit is somewhat active there with messages that speak into my life each time. They need deeper teaching with proper and more complete scholarship which is where I fit in bc I'm more than happy to offer that as my main spiritual gift to those with right hearts and who care enough like myself, to get a more Fuller knowledge, understanding a d wise application of the whole counsel of God. So come find me at the 11am service usually, in their cafeteria eating a cheap but tasty breakfast of eggs, meat, home fried potatoes and either brown sugar topped french toast or pancakes! This is the only assembly that I've been to that offers a cafeteria with many tables and the options to buy breakfast or lunch and watch the worship and teaching a giant screen! Free lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Great atmosphere overall and is where I find has the most opportunity of resources for spiritual and earthly activities! Lol
Pantano is a large church but still feels warm and welcoming! We love the music and message on Sundays and after becoming involved in a life group we quickly felt we had found a home with in the church!
My family and I have been attending PCC for over a year, and we absolutely love it!!! There is wonderful teaching and leadership from the pastoral staff, the worship service and music are extremely good, and the Children's ministry is excellent! Come visit, and find your new church home.
The presence of God is here. The Lord s supper is takin every Sunday. It's a silent revival with God burning in the hearts. Blessings to all who read this words.
I've been attending Pantano for about 10 years! It's a beautiful Church and even more so the people who attend and serve there. The last few years they have gone above and beyond what I could have ever expect from a Church. However, this Past weekend I was just speechless at the amount of humility and bravery to bring in another church to take Pantano's platform and center stage. Sure Pastor Glen talks about coming together as a community and helping others and one can easily think this is all just talk but having another church come together with our church was so much more than just talking the talk it was ACTION. I'm still amazed at Pantano for having that kind of courage and true love for THE Church and nothing speaks louder than action. The Kingdom is the KINGDOM and last week that was displayed so beautifully by PANTANO! So proud to call this my home Church and THANK you for inspiring us all to be more like CHRIST!
We have been attending Pantano for a few years now. What brought us there at first was that our kids loved it. We have seen them grow in their faith and make friends. What we didn't expect is that we have also found a great community and have grown in our faith. No matter where you are in your walk you can find a place to grow at Pantano. It is our responsibility to seek out maturity and growth and the church is an extension of that. Pantano gives many opportunities to connect with others, grow in your faith, and go and make disciples.
The men's bible study at 6-7:30 pm Thursday Evening is pretty good! If you're interested swing by and get some vitamin Jesus! Plus on Sunday the coop court cafeteria makes amazing food for breakfast and lunch! The pulled pork is sooooo good!
I just moved to Tucson a week ago so I decided to visit this church as sounded like my home church. Walking in alone was hard enough, but not one person said hello or even acknowledged that I was there.. The sermon was wonderful .
BEWARE: If you live together and want to get marred at this church they will not marry you, but will waste your time by not telling you this until you have your first meeting and after they steal your $50. I would recommend telling a little white lie and tell them you live apart, will save you lots of trouble in the end. Thank you very much we did like this church except for the neverending songs, but the good thing is we will find a better and brighter church.
Pantano christian church is an amazing beautiful church i have been attending there for 2 years it is absolutely amazing and its such a positive impact on the whole family
I love this Church. Warm welcoming and inspiring. Lots of activity for kids. Handicap acessable and welcoming. Encourages family and supports adoption and fostering. A safe place to grow your faith. They do mission work localy and globally.
