Peaceful place..

Great Experience on TMD(Turbine Mantanance Department). This plant very old thermal power plant. Initially it was having 8 units working which was generating 1365MW of power. But due to some reasons all plants not running now.

Green and safe campus.The campus has quarters for the employees serving in the thermal power plant.There are a variety of house depending on the post on which one is serving at the thermal power plant.The campus has a big ground,an indoor sports etc.
The campus is safe as the entry of strangers are done with proper checking at entry points.Campus life has two small hotels serving mostly samosas,chowmein,sweets and other fast food.some outlets also serve juice,and daily need products of household use.Barber shop,post office,ATM, Govt. School, religious places too available inside the campus.
The campus is peaceful and gives you an asthetic experience.If you have any relative serving in Panipat thermal powerpoint do give him/her a visit.You will fall in love with the asthetic peace and greenery of the place.

It is thermal power generation plant which runs on coal. Cooling towers can be seen from far off. Earlier there were 8 units, now it has 4. Smaller non-functional cooling towers have been demolished. It is operational 24/7. Some employees work in General 9-5 and others in shifts on rotation basis.
A residential colony is near it, where quarters are allotted to employees based on their rank. It is a well planned and we'll maintained. With passage of time as many employees either got retired or transferred, it is becoming deserted. It is the best place to live with all the facilities.
Solar power generation plant is also there.

So large.This is wonderful place and very good for training.Green and peaceful place.Nice campus.

Wonderful campus but neglected for maintenance. Large area is there but without plantation and beautification. The residential complex is nearby which has old houses and must be renovated.

mostly government employees are lazy , and some are corrupt , almost all units remain out of service
