Well after waiting for about 45min because the hostess iPad died, we were rushed upstairs only to endure a conflict between staff members. The food itself was decent and we got full but it didn't have that wow factor. Staff members were friendly but more training is needed especially if a conflict occurs. It wasn't the best experience but it wasn't the worst.

Slightly quieter and more orderly than Saltlife (restaurant next door) the prices are a little higher too. The view from the 1st storey outside deck looks across the to the ocean. Portions can be very large, but they offer boxes. They had an unusual red ale that I enjoyed too. I wasn't a fan of the easy listening guitar player, but that's just personal taste.

Excuse me, but what about this salad equals $15? I can buy the same green mix at Publix. Actually, I can buy about 3 boxes of this mix before I get to $15. Also, even though one container of ranch is sufficient for this puny salad, for $15, I could have bought a whole bottle for myself. Additionally, THERE WAS NO FORK IN MY BAG. Thanks for reminding me to just eat at home. Btw, I'm allergic to these croutons.

Very good food, great outdoor 2nd floor deck atmosphere, great service.

I had the grouper sandwich. Did not disappoint. Big onion ring is their signature flare; take it or leave it. I liked it.

We have been to Panama's multiple times, and we have never been disappointed. Our first visit, we got rained off the beach, so we decided to visit and have a few cocktails, which led to dinner. So glad we popped in. Sarah Jo our server, spent the time to tell us about not only the restaurant, but St. Augustine itself since we had moved here only a week before. Like I said we have been back many times and EVERY time we have had wonderful service, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are great. It was so nice visiting the other night and Ivy our server, remembered us and our daughter and what we liked. In fact every server has been awesome, friendly and warm. Looks like this is our new "home" for eating out. Thanks for the some of the best experiences for dinning out.

My husband and I were looking for a seafood restaurant for dinner and were so glad we found Panama Hattie s down the street from the hotel. We shared the jumbo shrimp platter and it was not only delicious, it was plenty of food for both of us. The shrimp was huge, sweet and crispy. The fries were yummy. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We also saw a lot of regular customers which speaks well of the restaurant. You can eat outside if you want but inside felt safe too.

When we 1st arrived we were told there was a 30 to 45 minute wait...so big deal it's Sunday at 2pm... totally understand that... We found a seat at the bar and met Colleen, the bar tender running upstairs on her own...not only is she on top of EVERYTHING and recommend everything that is good, she makes a hell of a good white Russian...bc the Dude abides, and recommend the salmon bowl to my love and it is fantastic! Everything about this joint is dead on great. Maybe a little pricey but worth the extra price. Totally happy with our 1st visit!
