The Panaca Park is a space where we can appreciate several stations with a variety of animals !! Ideal to promote the education of children with the countryside, animals, work of farmers and nature.

Perfect for a family day. The children are delighted. As much of the path between the different areas is not paved, there are special cars for young children that you can separate at the entrance to the park. It is recommended to bring an umbrella or raincoats.

A fun park for kids and adults who love to interact with animals.

The park is about 1.5 hour drive from Pereira and cost 20 dollars for the general admission pass. Another 10 dollars more allows you to see the night time horse show. The park has various stations with many farm and domesticated animals to see and interact with. There are also various shows with the animals that range about an hour long. After the shows, you are able to take pictures with the animals for free and get professional photos at an extra cost. There are also places where kids can mount the animals for photos as well. Be sure to mount the buffalo and the horses for great photos. My favorite shows were the cattle display and the country show. I skipped the free horse show, but many people said it is the best show to watch (riders doing tricks and dressage on horseback). However, all show are in Spanish, thus making it difficult to understand for non Spanish speakers.

There are many opportunities where you can interact with the animals at a cost. You can milk a cow, feed the animals, ride a horse/pony, and play with the dogs and cats. Prices varies, but ranged for about 1 to 10 dollars, depending on the activity. There is also zip lining for about 10 dollars as well.

The staff are friendly and helpful, but most of them only speak Spanish. Thus, best to use a translator if you can't understand Spanish. Also, you ask nicely, you may be able to take more photos of the animals in the show (was able to take a photo mounted on a show horse and donkey... Please feel free to tip the staff as well).

There are also many restaurants and gift shops, but expect to be Columbian expensive (but much cheaper than Disney or universal). Didn't try the food, so unable to comment.

While it looks the animals seem to be cared for, I think they can still do a better job in giving them a higher quality of life. Saw many of the domestic animals in small cages and some did look a bit dull. However, found the food to be plentiful for the animals and staff making sure the guests treats the animals with respect.

Overall, had a fun time at Panaca and definitely will visit again. Wished there was a translator for the shows and animals can be a little better cared for. But the many opportunities to interact with the animals makes a fun place. Next time, will take a lesson in trick riding over there.

Excellent experience of contact with nature and to learn a little about the beautiful work of our peasants, a profession that also has its science and here we realize. The only thing I would recommend is that they indicate the roads to the different stations, this would make the route easier.

The shows are definitely very fun, but in case the attention of the people who work there nothing to see or we had very bad luck. There was a transport inside the park that only fit 8 people and they have the luxury of booking one which was not available because it was reserved only for 1 family that paid more or? Also in the conditions that have the canine section gives sadness. It would be good to know if they inspect the place or check how poor animals care. At the dairy site, you had to ask how to get information because they only answer what is necessary. The day we were awful it rained and the horse show was canceled and I know it has nothing to do with the park but they should give a discount to be able to return and enjoy everything in general since the entrance is not cheap. The parking lot was flooded and so dark that we got wet and we got into how much lagoon there was because it couldn't be seen. But good was our experience

It is a good place for recreation, but everything is expensive or there is not much to choose, and there is no translation of any event. On the other hand the animals are not in a natural Abitab for them. According to the purpose of panaca

It is very beautiful and fun for both children and adults, the seasons are very pleasant and creative, the shows they do are very fun. In the station of the cows we were very bad with the pity food service very delayed little staff to attend so many people when our turn came we changed the menu because it was over. I recommend using sunscreen and drinking lots of water.

The best place to know and recognize the agricultural culture of the country. It is too complete, the shows are too good and they show respect and care in each of their animals. It has many feeding options, its staff is very pleasant and always finds a useful answer to your questions. In addition to the knowledge of each of their agricultural processes. Recommended for any type of public.
