I've never had ANY issues with the front desk or waiting times. Psychiatry you tend to have to wait a little bit longer, but it's well worth it. I've been going here for a few years now, and absolutely love my therapist (non existent wait times for her) . I've been through very many therapists, but she's done such an outstanding job Ive stuck around. Love this place. Genuinely caring doctors and therapists.

Waited for 2 months to see a psychiatrist. Was told a week before first appointment that the person I was scheduled to see was not able to treat me due to not having credentials or experience with adult ADD. They resheduled me for a month later with the same psychiatrist as my wife. They did not tell me this was an issue until 8 minutes before my appointment. They rescheduled me for 30 minutes later with the first psychiatrist. I was called back 5 minutes later to be told that they couldn't see me today anyways and I'd have to reschedule. After bringing up the limitations that caused them to change psychiatrists in the first place, they then informed me they didn't have anyone in the practice able to see me and I would have to go to a different practice. I have now wasted 2 months of waiting where I could have been in line for another practice due to mistakes made that could have easily been caught. I have now spent vacation time to take a half day off from work to have no services rendered. I understand that mistakes happen, but this amount of schedule changing and delays, and now denial of service is unprofessional, especially being told this so close to the start of the appointment

The only positive is that they are refunding my first session payment.

I have been going to this place for years! The drs are constantly leaving and with nobody to cover their patients. You have to go months hoping they will call you and tell you that somebody new will be covering your medical needs. I have gone through several drs and this causes for no continuity of care and no little to no actual help. I have to call for refills hoping that they will have someone to write them. My last dr retired and I was told I again would get the call with a new dr...but I didn t. So when I called the office to get refills because I am almost out of meds, I was told they no longer have a dr who deals with adults, so nobody will write me a script. Then I was told to go to my primary dr or find another dr somewhere else. 1. A primary dr will not write scripts for the meds that I take. 2. What type of facility tells you to just go somewhere else?!?!? The front desk staff is rude and never has a smile on their face. For being a psychiatric office you would think they would want their front desk people to atleast smile at their pts. I would not recommend this place to anybody!

I can't speak for the actual services because they were so bad at communicating I stopped trying. Also one of their receptionists, Debbie, is incredibly rude and patronizing. She has no place working where vulnerable people are seeking help.

I have known Dr. Cashen as a professional colleague for the better part of 13 years and have trusted my referrals to him and his practice. Dr. Cashen has a unique skill set in working with teens and trauma. I have always been impressed by his knowledge, compassion, and willingness to take on challenging and complex cases. I have consulted with him throughout the years and have always valued his feedback and expertise in many clinical areas. I have no reservations in referring to his practice. I hope that others will consider that psychotherapy unfortunately continues to carry a stigma and the majority of individuals receiving counseling services who have positive experiences are not willing to "out" themselves publicly to leave positive reviews and it is unethical for providers to solicit positive reviews from their clients. But know that for every 1 negative review, there are likely a dozen positive reviews that aren't left due to confidentiality concerns.

This place is terrible.

This place is terrible.

After a terrifying trip to the ER room, I was for some reason recommended to go to this office for the help I desperately needed.

I called to make an appointment, and they told me I would not even be able to start the process of scheduling an appointment for a few days. They said they would call me back. They never did, so I called them. At this point, I was told they couldn't do anything for me and they would call me back later in the day. They, of course, did not, so I called them the next morning.

The woman I talked to was apparently angry at me for trying so hard to get the help I needed badly. She hung up on me. Yes, this woman hung-up on a potentially mentally unstable person. A real Einstein she is.

Eight days after initially trying to schedule an appointment for the first time, I was finally left a voice-mail explaining no doctor could ever find the time to see me. I could not even schedule an appointment weeks/months in advance.

This whole process of trying to schedule an appointment actually made my condition much much worse. Trying to seek help and getting totally shut down made me very depressed and anxious as I could not find out what was wrong with me. Anxiety attacks became very frequent thanks in part to this horrible excuse for a doctor's office.

I would not recommend this place at all, as it is apparently filled with completely despicable human beings who have no concern for their patients.

I would not recommend this practice. The main receptionist is not friendly at all. She doesn't do well at providing necessary information. You have to prompt and probe her just to find out details about your appointment. Their follow through also lacks. I constantly have to call them regarding results and outcomes. I would expect way more professionalism and courtesy from mental health practice.

My son with autism has been going here for years. Very happy with all the professionals we have worked with over the years. I have never had problems with long waits and they have been very accommodating!

The Dr at this office is very kind and caring. Her staff on the other hand is very rude and condescending. I was very shocked when calling for a anti psychotic
for a autistic 13 year old. The amount had to change due to weight or growth. I ran out and called to see about some samples to get through until I could fill my sons next script and see the Dr . I was asked why I waited so long. I informed her my son just started to show behaviors. I was appalled due to the lack of compassion her staff showed. I go to psychiatrist when the medication isn't working well. She was confused about why I hadn't been there in a while. His med's were controlled. If anyone would know what parents like us go through it would be them right???????

I have had my son who is 11 to several psychologist. I realize that Pyschiatrist normally are there to prescribe pharmaceuticals however I hated that they were not taking the time to really talk to him, and was just throwing medicine at him to see what would work. This became very alarming when two doctors on his team questioned the amount of medicine that his previous psychologist had him on. Our Pediatric Neuropsychologist highly recommended Dr. Chand. I was Leary due to the reviews, but I trust her judgement and took a chance. SO GLAD WE DID!!! Dr. Chand is the first ever to really connect with my son and has a strong desire to create a good relationship with him and not just make it all about medicine. He also has held off on medicine! Which is huge for a Dr. in this field. I could not be more thrilled so far with the care we have received at Palso Behavioral Health. On another note, those who complain about having to call in or not getting in for several months. This unfortunately is the case for many Dr. offices in this field. I don t think that PBHP should be ranked low based on that alone. Also their front office staff always seems very pleasant when we have been there. I have been to many health professional offices in my sons journey and I must say, we are very happy with PBHP. I would give them a try.

Ive been seeing one of the doctors here for about 5 months now and have had no problems with the front or waiting times. It's usually within 5 minutes of my appointment which is fine. I'd rather not be rushed myself. The front desk ladies have a smile whenever I see or speak with them, but the doctors schedule their own appointments and also control the flow of their patients, so my only interaction is "hello" and a copay and maybe a quick schedule inquiry phone call. I empathize that what some people are coming here for is very difficult to either admit or find help for in general, so any hindrance can be overwhelming or misconstrued and may cause a negative reaction. I'm sorry others have had a bad experience, but in my opinion it's a basic, busy office, with some great minded people, in an excellent location next to Lake Katherine. (Which is convenient for nature strolls before or after a session. Really hits the reset button for me.) I hope everyone finds what they need. Sometimes that's elsewhere. For me it's here and my experience has been amazing!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!! If I could give no stars I would. I had been attending this facility for over a year and have discontinued. The front staff are so rude and the manager with the lip piercing and curly hair is so rude. They will over charge you and expect payment even though I had kept my receipts from my co-pays/visits. I finally had a steady regime of my medications and was only going once every two months. When I had came back for a check-up they tried to tell me I owed them 150. I complained and showed them that I didn t attend the appointment, mind you both me and my doctor agreed to cancel them since I was doing well. I still had to pay 50 but they waived the 100 and didn t even apologize. This place is full of negativity and patients shouldn t have to deal with this type of environment. Very unprofessional.

I was with this group for over twelve years. Dr. and therapist are great but when they moved to this building the office staff has been horrendous! They had me crying on more than one occasion and my daughter finally refused to see them, the therapist had us come up the back stairs. At one point they sent us a bill for over $800 dollars saying they had forgot to bill us for the Dr. from two years before! What a joke! There should be no problem making an appointment because we are all leaving as fast as we can.

AVOID THIS PRACTICE. Horribly managed. Extreme wait times, front office disorganization. The front desk people seem to need psychiatric care or antidepresssants/xanex more than the patients. Good luck getting treated well here. Extreme wait times and doctors are mostly unavailable. Appointments with your doctor usually take a month or more. Go somewhere where they'll treat you like you matter as a patient. Also, Check out the reviews below, guess I'm not crazy. I can't believe I had to give this place one star by default minimum.

Very rude and never return phone calls. I would be terrified if there was a true psychiatric emergency! I would be curious to see if they lost patients to suicide, because of the lack of care here....such a sad sad thought..

The receptionist was rude and cold. My son's pediatrician referred us to this office so I gave them a call. I started to explain the referral details to the receptionist and she responded sarcastically, "Well does he need to see a therapist?" I explained that the referral was for an initial evaluation and I wasn't sure exactly what he needed. I again stated that the pediatrician recommended this office. She got louder and asked again, "FOR THERAPY?!" Needless to say, I did not go through with the appointment and we won't be using their services. Most people in this type of profession are understanding and empathetic toward the families they work with. This is not what I experienced when I called this office. Seek help elsewhere.
