Palms Casino Resort Review

Never stay here. Total bait and switch. Low rate advertised, confirmed in email then required to pay inflated "resort fee" on check in. Would have chosen another hotel. Will never come back here or recommend to anyone. Zero stars

The first night staff and everyone I encountered was good. I arrived at 10 pm so this could have something to do with it. Late shift is often the best shift. Had a good time decided to check back in after a few days instead of the other accommodation I had planned for the time in Las Vegas. The second visit/check in was during the day and the service and staff I encountered not as pleasant. Also if the little things matter to you then that can take off a star, such as remodeled rooms but some have older thermostat which wasn't working or cooling the room. Second room newer thermostat (digital) but if your on the upper floors it does get hot. Kept the temp on Auto 64. Media hub that is promoted in the remodeled rooms doesn't work, cordless phone doesn't work and second room Mini bar was stocked with One beer, One diet coke and intimate kit, so not fully stocked. Food for room service is same as Lucky Penny which is not that good. Tv channels are slim. So these little things can bother some. Also resort fees are standard in Vegas, I get it but at this location it really only covers the wifi.

First we went there was a month ago and we loved the place so much we booked it again... Second time around wasn't so great, when we first arrived the t.v. wasn't working, we had to call twice to get someone to check it out. The previous More

First time I have been there since the remodeling. It's fantastic. I was so excited to see it. Everyone was so friendly. Answered my questions whenever I asked one. Love it

They added a lot after the upgrade. Huge variety of slots, they have a movie theater, food court, restaurants, multiple clubs, and renovated pool. Rooms are very nice as well. If you're trying to relax, this is not the place. Very loud music plays throughout casino, since the renovation, much younger crowd. Besides that overall very nice property.

Nice digs for the price. Also their buffet is AMAZING.

My fiance and I enjoyed the Palms place we rented a car so we could see some of the tourist attractions without giving all our money to cabs it can get expensive and valet was included in the resort fee only thing I have a problem with is they should address the worn out couch that had a few stains I should have complained about it but I've seen worse I definitely would go back but I'm adventurous so I'll probably go somewhere else next time I

The room was great. The cleaning staff was fabulous. The front desk check in and out was very efficient and polite. But the waitresses in the casino were very rude with horrible attitudes.

Great looking resort. Look out for that hidden security deposit and room amenity fee.

It was good poker machine are loose you can win on them but the buffet it takes to long to get in need to find a new system

We loved our week stay at Palms Resort. The place was always clean and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Only downside was the wifi which was non-existent in our room.

Visited Palms to go to a movie at Brenden Theaters. Love the newly renovated theaters with recliner seats and assigned seating. The price isn't half bad either. Great experience!

1st time staying here and I have to say it was a great place to stay regardless that this hotel isn't on the strip , service here was great and enjoyed every second here !

Stayed at the ivory tower and my room was amazing. Had a nice view of the north end of the strip. Shuttle buses guest to ceasars with no additional fee (included in daily resort fee) rewards card gives you perks to places around hotel. Only draw back is main pool was closed for renovation but we knew that before booking. All the employees are very nice and helpful. Would recommend

AYCE buffet great bang for the buck on buffets when I usually have majority of buffets

First time visitor. Very nice decor and easy to get around in the casino.
Biggest drawback? They kept too much of my !

Went to see The disaster Artist theater was awesome, greatly improved with new renovations

I liked the casino. Tried to play poker but no one showed up for the tournament. I like the managers of the room.

I went to the movies at the Palms and had a great experience. The food court has a good taco joint and enjoyed a few of them.

The room was fine
Construction above room woke everone up at 5:00AM Spoke with the front desk and they stated it was nothing they could do but would compensate when we check out.
Pools close at 5pm. You can get a spa all day pass for 25 for the day per person.
After finding out the pool closes at 5 the only option it to pay 25 for 2 hours per person before they close at 7.
This experience is not top rated.
Spend your hard earned money some were else.

Nice room. Staff is somewhat unfriendly and unhelpful. Location is inconvenient if you want to spend time on the strip. They don't have a shuttle to the strip anymore, so you have to drive there and park in one of the few casinos that still have free parking, or shell out $8-10 each way for an Uber.

Newly renovated and redesigned definitely make the Palms a stop when you visit Vegas. The new pool to the Nightclubs, free parking to the food court, the casino to the movie theater, the Palms has a lot of something for everyone.

Waiting 20 minutes for the concierge to pick up our bags in the front of the hotel. Horrible service. The front desk attendants keep saying that he s coming . Poor service here.

The AYCE buffet was an excellent experience. The food, despite not having much selection, was good (however some of the meats were slightly dry and unseasoned). The service was nice and attentive.

I went to go see Janelle Monae perform. The venue and staff was clean, professional looking, and extremely nice. The atmosphere was amazing and felt like a great place for a younger partying crowd.

It has a great view and amazing room service. Will definitely come again.

Great place for small and large social gatherings and/or events

Small, smoky in the casino, but not crowded like the rest of Vegas. There is even a 14 screen theater in the casino area.

We were treated to an amazing dinner at Scotch 80. The food was delicious but the service was truly exceptional!

They've been making major chic upgrades. Cant wait to try the new steak restaurant

The remodeling is outstanding. Employees attitude is great (not like other crappy casinos i.e. Silverton). Awesome food at all of their restaurants. Highly recommended.

Palms is niice. Went there for breakfast/lunch buffet. Unlimited mimosas are life..

This is for the Palms Movie Theaters.
They've done major renovations to Palms Casino and is more upscale than it used to be. However my favorite part of Palms is the movie theater.

I can't say much about customer service because everything is pretty much automated. In my opinion, they have one of the best movie theaters at a reasonable price.

It's best to prepurchase and select your seats before you go. They have comfy reclining seats with trays for any snacks.

Most patrons are polite and respectful. Hands down my go to theater in Vegas

The Palms has always been a very nice hotel. Even under it's new owners, Station Casinos, it seems to shine a bit brighter than most of the strip hotels. We visited for Easter brunch at Cafe 6 which was fantastic. The food although partially served buffet style was fresh and the service was amazing. The included drinks were well-prepared and went well with the meal. The wait staff was courteous and efficient including the restaurant manager who came over to discuss the history of the restaurant and the changeover from The Palms group to ownership under stations. I would recommend anyone try this restaurant well in town and locals can have an excellent meal without dealing with strip traffic

Stayed at the palms place on a work trip and loved it. Great front desk, rooms with kitchen are a huge bonus, and the view of the strip and the mountains is really relaxing. Would definitely come back.

3 stars bcuz the slots were good to me. The new buffet was a disappointment...The food wasn't good.

They upgraded us to a Penthouse suite on the 34th floor for our 8th anniversary. It was absolutely amazing! Loved our experience at the Palms so much! Can't wait until we go back!

The venue was great and the concert was tons of fun.

This hotel offer veraity of massages and spa, there is wet and dry sauna, cold and worm pools and a snack room in the spa.

Palms is a very clean and tidy resort. Lots of options for food and drink, bright and energetic decor, and staff id always helpful. I went to the movie theater and they were just recently renovated with reclining seats. Had a great time. I will definitely be back.

The casino is going through a massive renovation but is fully functional for gambling. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. Being off strip makes this place less chaotic and more enjoyable for those seeking to flee the masses. Overall the Palms is a stellar resort with only a 10 minute shuttle ride to the strip.

Decent casino option. Small amount of table games, but the layout, and decor of the gaming floor is well thought out. You have the Ghost Bar on the top floor which has excellent views, and decent music. I have frequented this spot on several occaisions, and will return in the future. Also the hotel bar next door in the additional hotel tower is a chill spot for a cocktail.

They are doing a great job in improving the Palms from what it used to be. Seems like based on my current experience, upper management is taking very seriously the guest's feedback which is good news for us the players. The new look is atractive , elegant and modern.

The room was nice, but nothing special. The walls were thin enough that noisy drunk people around like they were right in the room with you. A white noise generator might be useful if, like me, you're interested in sleeping. Strangely, we were told we were being charged for eating jelly beans, which we hadn't, but the charge was removed when we pointed out that we had not eaten them.

Gone downhill in the last 10 yrs but the staff is wonderful

I'm a local, and I'm pretty happy with this place overall. I don't play Slots, normally I play quarter video poker. Once in a while I will go by the tables for a little blackjack. I think the machines here have a slightly better payback than the strip, but not the highest pay back you can find in Vegas by any means. I don't really play the tables often enough to review them, the only way you can really review them is to determine how many $10 tables they have which might be in play for the average gambler. they do have a few $10 tables, but like most places the $10 tables are usually full, and you have lots of vacancy at the $25 tables and up. the cocktail service is okay as far as I can tell, but whatever you do do not order coffee with cream and sugar. I think they serve you dishwater and add the cream and sugar on top. the buffet is top-notch, and the food court is a great option too. none of the other cafes or restaurants inside the property are worth the money in my opinion. I have not stayed in the hotel, so I cannot comment on that. The property has undergone extensive transformation over the past year, and the construction continues. It seems like a different Casino every time I go there. they give really cheap gifts for the most part to get the locals to come in. I would recommend they give better gifts, at less frequency, but from a business perspective I'm sure they put a lot of thought into how they do things. I do recommend visiting the property if you are in Las Vegas, and I honestly think you will receive a better value than you will down on the Strip. For locals, not a bad place to drop in once in awhile, but there are better options depending on how far you want to drive.

Went to a movie, everything was great, clean, trouble free, except the soft pretzel bites. They were over cooked, and I had to go back to get the cheese dip because they didn't even offer it and I forgot. Otherwise 2 thumbs up!

New remodeled. ..and its off the hook... something to see when in Las Vegas. . Not the ....old palms... no more... outstandingly great and free parking.. covered...its worth the trip..

I got to finally meet the man of the best pastries in Las Vegas! Thomas Bell! Local guy as well! the lucky penny is the place for what he does best! You wont believe what he does! Hes gotta a gift and his stuff is awesome! Best gift giveaways of all stations! Look forward to whats next..thank you for the AWESOME desserts in the penny cafe...construction in casino is a maze sometimes...but no serious issues...

The recent renovations really kicked the Palms back into the hospitality industry game. The art installations are worth checking out.

The palms is a great casino for a younger crowd to relax and have a little fun.

Had my daughter's birthday party there at palms place . I went through air B and B it worked out we had 2 rooms they were connected perfect had A DJ everything seemed to work out . No problems with noise complaints or anything very cool.

A 57 floor penthouse suite prepaid reservation should not incur an $250 cleaning fee at checkin not previously advised. Nor should it have carpet sweep covering half elevator landing floor carpet with unpleasant odors. Furnishings were horrible mismatch and in case 2 lamps inoperative as was a dining chair the seat back was broken off and one couch with broken seat cushion straps. Only thing I can complime t was view from balcony per attached pictures.

We had our private VIP party at club Apex located on the 55th floor of the Palms. The night view is pretty amazing. The venue is perfect for a company party. The food was really good too!

New decor and I really liked what I saw here. From the shark bar to the restaurants I wanted to spend more time enjoying myself but I was pressed for time. Even though it's off the strip I'd gladly stay here if it isn't too pricey.

A lot of parting, loud music, can be heard until 4am in the room. Pretty decor tho.

Since the refurbishment this place is great. Pool wasn't open yet but can't wait to go next time. Breakfast downstairs is awesome

Went to eat brunch at the buffet which was just remodeled. They have a vegan section now and a variety of different ice cream. Worth the $19.99 per person when using your station casino rewards card.

Visit the palms, you won't be disappointed. Great hotel, great casino, great looking employees.

I love this place and the room are very nice and the movie theater is awesome

As a couple we expected king size or queen size bed but we got two double beds. The heater was noisy, the vent in the bathroom was dirty. I would still give 3 out of 5, just because overall the experience wasn't all that bad. I hope these can fix these things up for better experience.

Discusting....First and Last time.....You lay Slots Machine and RUDE, VILE Coctail Server treating you like you doing her a Favor!!! STAY away from this PALM Casino. They can invest in remodeling, but they need to IMPROVE in SERVICE..... Service SUCK!!!!

The event we went to was awesome - it was in the theatre. They were running late however so we had a rediculously long queue through the casino. Drinks in the pearl theatre are expensive and they ran out of snacks 1 hour into a 5 hour event.

Large casino off strip with good food options and cinema. Fantastic suites. Rooms are more expensive then average for Vegas, albeit generally well renovated.
