School was decent but giving a low star rating because of the basketball coach. Coach Balza. Liar and few other things that I won't mention. Have seen and heard him treat players he doesn't like with terrible tactics to make them either quit or not want to come back. Not a good guy from my experience.
When I initially came into this school I wanted to eventually go into their graduate program. The admissions advisor told me that I would have a higher change if I got my undergrad there as well. So I did. I graduated with a 3.4, the teachers were amazing and then I go to apply for my graduate program. Due to covid the interview was over the phone. The gentleman that interviewed me asked me why I wanted to go into mental health and I explained to him how in the past I had a substance abuse problem (I wanted to be as honest as I could) because I had been saved and I felt like my purpose was to be a vessel of god and help others. The minute I said that to him he answered I AM SORRY BUT I DONT KNOW HOW I WILL BE ABLE TO PRESENT YOU IN FRONT OF THE COMMITTEE MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE SOME TIME OFF . He did finish the interview but weeks later I received a letter saying that I was denied admission to the school. I was already in the school, so I called and no one understood why I wasn t accepted. My advisor was confused, my teachers and myself. When I asked why I wasn t accepted so that I can work on it and fix it no one knew. They said the committee looks at different things and decides. I had classmates with lower GPAs that were admitted, I had one friend who had failed a class and was admitted and I wasn t admitted simply because I have a past with mental health. I asked to email someone so I may get an answer as to why this happened. They didn t even send me the proper letter stating I wasn t accepted into the program. No one ever got back to me and honestly it shattered me because here I am paying 3 times the amount of a state university to be discriminated by my past. I truly worked hard for my grades.

I was a first year student at PBAU, and I can say whole-heartedly, the WORST school to be in, very uptight people and community. I got scammed by getting a 10k grant and got stuck with owing the school WAY more then was suppose to. The administration never gets back to you, and the new president gives all her work off and doesn t try to reach out to the students- even when asked. This school does not care about the students and is a SCAM.

There are a few intelligent and kind professors. And then there were a couple who shove conservatism down your throat and grade your papers based on their values. And unfortunately the University allows it. So after one semester I've decided to take my talents to a different Institution.
They are very concerned about the safety of their students and staff during the Pandemic. They are taking excellent measures in helping to keep everyone healthy and safe. Keep up the good work.
Awful college experience. No diversity, everyone is extremely ignorant and hateful. The staff is unhelpful and the school is overpriced. They have a fine for every small thing. Doesn t even provide an adequate and unbiased education. Do not go here if you value education. Only good part about the school is the location.
