Excellent and quite large park with a magnificent waterfall adorned with statues that celebrate the arrival of water in Marseille. In addition there is a museum and a museum of natural history to visit absolutely. I recommend

On one side the Palais Longchamp which offers a magnificent exterior view day and night, even more when the fountain is working!
Inside it presents a very beautiful architecture.
On the other side, there is a beautiful park (when there is no construction) which hosts music festivals in the summer.
Very nice also for outings with children on weekends, after school or a small picnic!
We feel good there!

The outside is beautiful and totally worth a visit, the museums have been closed since April 2019 and no notice when they will re-open
The park was nothing special from what we saw, it didn't look very taken care of and the public bathrooms were closed when we arrived around 6:45 on a Friday

A great place that is worth a visit. Nearby is a subway and a tram, which will allow you to travel halfway through Marseille to the next destination without spending much money. Everything is intact and beautiful.

One of the most beautiful building in Marseille and that's what you see considering the number of tourist coaches.
The place is very pretty but the park is not accessible to strollers or PRM.
Unfortunately as we are in Marseille, the place is a little tagger and many waste litter the ground.
Be careful, the park has opening and closing times.

One of the few places in Marseille that is pretty. On the other hand, barely out, it's the return to stinking streets. Go there and stay in it for a long time to avoid remembering that we are in Marseille

An exceptional place in an urban context unflattering (in my opinion)
To see (as well as the museums and park on the place)

The most beautiful park in Marseille in my opinion, a real moment of relaxation, access two entrances: tram line 2 stop Longchamps, metro line 1 stop five avenue, play area for children.

Pleasant garden, a corner of greenery in a neighborhood where concrete has gradually taken over.
Magnificent monument whose maintenance has been ensured since the arrival of water in Marseille over 150 years ago.
