Absolutely gutted we have moved surgeries due to house move. How people can leave a negative review about this practice.. 25 years registered as a family and cannot fault the service. Always professional and friendly. Dr Clarke is amazing and has been there when needed. E consult works amazingly for those who need appointments during the pandemic. Always professional and friendly. Woolston hub also which is the sister practice, never had any issues.

This place is a joke you cannot be seen and when you do the doctors don't give you the time of day and do not help with your conditions, I have had a broken back since I was a kid and I'm struggling to get medication or treatment I'm 24 and living in pain and am struggling to move doctors. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICAL CENTER!!!
Receptionist named Jen extremely unhelpful and rude along with male colleague. Had several family members who have all had issues with this surgery. One person tells you one thing and another tells you something else. I would not recommend this surgery and if you are with them and having problems I d advise you move to another practice, plenty of other doctors who are willing to speak / see patients without constant blockers and covid is not an excuse anymore. Each patient should be dealt with on an individual basis ALL NEEDS ARE DIFFERENT!!! Shocking attitude and like other reviews state the reception staff need sacking because their attitude stinks and there s clearly no need for any of them as all they do is say go online we can t help... feel sorry for the elderly who do not have access to internet.. what do they do about this???? Very annoyed!!
It is very frustrating trying to see a doctor. They have an online appointment system that displays appointments for the next 2 weeks - but it always states there are no appointments available. And I mean always, not sometimes, but 100% all the time. So, you have to ring them at 8am for an appointment that day, and of course it takes a number of attempts to get through, because everyone has been told to ring at the same time. It s quite stressful actually. God knows how the receptionist staff deal with it, knowing that the minute they start work they re going to get bombarded with people, all frustrated, all requesting an appointment that they can t give them. They must hate coming in to work, I couldn t do their job that s for sure. But you know what, change the system! Make it easier! It would be better for their staff and their patients. So, the 8am call... It can take a long time for the phone to be answered, by which point there are no doctor appointments left. I have never managed to see a doctor this way, and I ve been a patient here for about 5 years. They can offer an advanced nurse appointment, if they have any of those left. Which of course you accept, because the alternative is to try again at 8am tomorrow. When I do get in, I would suggest the service is around 3 stars. Friendly enough, but limited previous notes or history is available, and I m the one explaining previous diagnosis, medication and so on. Certainly not the place for someone who needs proper care and attention eg someone with memory problems. And not the place for someone who suffers from anxiety either, as the stress of booking an appointment could add to their problems. So, I would say 3 stars for the service, 1 star for trying to make an appointment. Overall, 2 stars. If it was a business, and I was a regular consumer, I would definitely shop elsewhere. Not good!
Can t get in to see a doctor. Speak to the receptionists who ask you to self diagnose then tell you to use the e-consult which tells you you need to see a doctor. Phone back and they say there s no appointments for two weeks. Been poorly with a 40C+ temperature on and off for 4 weeks. All they could suggest was the walk in centre in Leigh which isn t really viable as I am a single mother with a special needs child. No support. I just want to know who the gp s are actually seeing and why they re a priority over me.
I ve Been a patient here for 20 yrs + .. I ve never had a problem with the surgery .The receptionistsaid are polite and the Drs are too any medical issues I have had have been dealt with and would like to thank PADGATE MEDICAL CENTRE FOR THE THEIR SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED ,
REMEBER this is an NHS practice and can only do what they can .. AND those who complain or WRITE negative reports ! why don't you just change surgeries instead of being keyboard warriors . Remember treat people how you wish to be treated yourself and respect others Remember their only doing their jobs and are not there to insulted .
Not impressed this morning. Trying to order medication via Airmid. I have done it previously but it is far too complicated for the average person. I am a registered nurse but still finding it difficult. The system needs simplifying. Also when you phonr up you have to listen to a very long winded message prior to speaking to someone. I was almost falling asleep with boredom. The message needs summarising so that it is more user friendly.
Medical prescriptions got mixed up which could have landed me in a coma, or dead. There's also an unwillingness to actually respond/log any prescription requests, so you constantly run out of any medications you're meant to be on perfect for someone like myself who is a type 1 diabetic with other chronic illnesses.
*I do want to add though, there is 1 Dr that is phenomenal here, and actually listens, and gives a damn about her patients. If I could, I would give her 5/5 stars!
I have been there about 4 times with a pain in the back of my head and nothing else except blood tests has been done. I have asked for a scan, but been told there is no need for that. Just feel properly ignored :(
