Extremely unfortunate experience already. I had hope hopes for this "resort", but just checked in and am disappointed.



I call the front desk to ask about a switch and even the potential of an up sell for them and we would upgrade the room. I let them know this is really inconvenient and we'd like to switch or upgrade. After waiting 30 minutes for someone to call me back, I finally called the front desk again to get an answer. (We're waiting patiently to know if we're switching or not because we wanted to be mindful and not mess up the current room).

The front desk response was that since I booked on a third party website that is not direct, the room reservation is NOT guaranteed. She said that there is a large sporting group that booked majority of rooms on-site and they took all the rooms. This sounds somewhat understandable in normal times during a busier weekend... but during a pandemic where there a restrictions and capacity limits... you mean to tell me that ALL queen or king bed rooms are taken right now?! How is that possible, especially by a large sporting group of people... are they all couples sleeping in the same bed? Seems super sketch to me.

For the record, I went to their direct website and booked with the hotel. Again, let me reiterate. I used their website. If that took me to a third party company, which the agreement said it uses "Travel Agent" as their affiliate, that sounds like an establishment problem that should be addressed with their marketing team.

All in all, I'm extremely disappointed in bait and switch here and the lie that all rooms are fully booked and they are at 100% capacity, during a pandemic!

I will say that everyone I spoke with was professional and had their customer service voices perfected, but I hope this review warns other couples out there of this horrible bait and switch program. Heads up!! If you book any reservation that is not directly with the "resort", I would be apprehensive. Good luck!!

Although the room was clean and the view was nice, the fridge didn't work, there was no microwave and the ice machine didn't work on the floor. Had to go to a different floor to get ice. Traveling with 2 little ones, a working fridge and a microwave is a must. For it being such a secure and upscale place, you'd think they'd have those in working order. Not going back

Our experience was Awesome. There for two days. Played two beautiful golf courses in good condition. Our room had terrific views of the course, city lights and spectacular sunsets. But the chef at Red stole the show. We had two dinners two lunches and two breakfasts. The quality, flavors, plating, service was fantastic every time.

This gem in the hills of Los Angeles remains a great place to unwind for a few days. Even as the COVID lock down is still unwinding the resort offers great dining indoor or outdoor. The service is excellent and the golf courses are, as always in great shape. We spent 10 days visiting friends around SOCAL and then used Pacific Palms as our decompression stop before flying home and it was oerfect. I highly recommend.

Great service by all the staff members. The housekeeping staff was super friendly and helpful. I stood here because my fiance needed to handle some business needs, it was part business and part leisure. I really wanted to play a round of golf, was hoping they could accommodate me at the pro shop but no luck. I wish they had more indoor garbage cans as well. Other than that it was definitely worth the stay.

Excellent atmosphere & vibe. Can't say enough positive things about this place. From the services all the way to the food..... everything was great! Thank you everyone at Pacific Palms & Red! We'll be back soon.

Was really excited to stay at PP and made my reservation directly over the phone because their online system was having issues. Was told they had a promo going for stay 2 nights, get 3rd free at a rate of $163, booked and thought everything was great...

First problem was I never got my email confirmation. I called again to confirm since I had received it and was read my email back to me and still no email was received. This leads to our next problem, we show up at check in and are told the price isn t $163, it s $198. That you can only get the $160 price if you don t use the promotion... so basically if you use the promotion your daily increases and of course because I never got the email to confirm the price I was originally sold they will not honor it.

After reading other reviews seems like PP has a problem honoring what you book at reservation. I do not recommended others use their promotions or even their customer services to book. Go through a website for sure or look elsewhere! There was no apology, not adjustment or acknowledgment that they pulled a bait and switch on us.

Really relaxing and beautiful place for romantic or with the family. Workers there really nice. But there is couple things they might need to update. 1) all ice machines down and have to request it for room service to get bag of I've. Maybe because (covid). But how you going to get covid from ice machine? And you can't buy I've for your room because 2) there isn't no refridge to place our food nor drinks. So you'll have to bring ice chest. I know motel have fridges but this resort doesn't? So those are inconvenience for me and my family. Lucky there are store's all around that place. But please don't make that to not to visit because it's still worth it. Thanks.

The resort itself is very beautiful and all of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our view over the gorgeous golf course was stunning and the Red Restaurant had delicious food with very friendly staff on a nice outdoor patio. That being said, our experience as a whole was not that great. Our room had no towels, we could never get ahold of the front desk whenever we tried calling, our right side bed lamp did not work, and our shower had no hot water. Overall, the resort is beautiful and there s friendly staff but our experience was just alright.
