Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is a private university located in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 1890 by Norwegian pioneers, PLU has a rich history of providing high-quality education to students from diverse backgrounds. Academics
PLU offers more than 3,000 courses across its five colleges: Arts and Sciences; Business; Education and Kinesiology; Nursing; and Social Sciences. The university also offers graduate programs in business administration (MBA), education (MAEd), nursing (MSN) and marriage & family therapy (MMFT). With a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1, PLU provides an intimate learning environment where students can receive personalized attention from their professors.

Athletics
