My son has used multiple services from PLA. Every tutor was matched to his needs and has worked great for him. PLA did an excellent job at communicating the details and the follow through. I highly recommend them.

Our son is currently taking biology with Pacific Learning Academy. We specifically chose PLA because of the enriched experience and customization they were willing to create. Our son loves science and hopes to pursue a career in some aspect of science. We wanted to ensure all the sophomore year requirements were met, but that there was also the chance for real hands-on work. PLA has gone above and beyond in accommodating this. Our son has had the opportunity to do real dissections (a frog and cow eye so far), along with small experiments involving growing cultures and testing various reactions to different stimuli. Real, hands-on learning. The exciting stuff, not just memorizing facts. This is the type of learning that inspires students to pursue science and we are very grateful to PLA for providing it.
Our family has worked with Pacific Learning Academy for the past two summers. We absolutely loved how convenient it was. They really made an effort to make sure the schedule worked for both us and them. The teachers who worked with our child were knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Our son wasn't looking forward to summer school AT ALL, but after getting started with their one-on-one program, he loved it! He retained the info and was able to enjoy his summer at the same time. Plus, he received the needed credits. Both summers were great! We would work with Pacific Learning Academy again and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for "saving school" for us!
My son has done both tutoring and high school credit classes with Pacific Learning Academy, and we couldn t be happier. The individualized approach let him work to the level of mastery we chose, translating into deeper learning and a GPA worthy of his abilities. I love that they always had an eye toward his next steps, whether that be a great next year in high school, or his long-term (and challenging) goal of attending the Coast Guard Academy.
