Not a real place. Apparently they don t have a taproom and there were no beers on the menu at Black Hammer. This shouldn t be a real spot on Google Maps.
This place isnt real. I walked an hour to get here and it wasnt even here. It was black hammer brewery.
It's been a while since I've explored the SoMa area. After attempting to visit a new (to me) brewery on Mission only to find it was not opened, I ended up going to Pacific Brewing Lab/Black Hammer (they share a space). Between them they have a fairly extensive tap list (14 different brews). They have a really nice bar, and there was tons of space (although I was there on a Monday afternoon).
During my visit, I tried 3 of their brews (I probably should have gone for the Flight of Four):
* Witless Zombie - This is a good Belgian Witbier, although it's a little lite on the spices that I'm used to from this style.
* Deeeper Haus Stout - A really good (though quite strong) Imperial stout.
* Sunrise Set - This Berliner Weisse already has the sour flavors, no need to add lemon or orange.
There are so many microbreweries in San Francisco these days, but I'll be sure to check out Pacific Brewing/Black Hammer again.
A very nice place to have a good beer, from any of the two brewers that share the space. Risky beers
Clean, open space with great beers. Byo food in encouraged as there is no kitchen.
