This office is for job search and also provides two direct phone lines to Uc office. Those direct phone lines to UC office take the place of the closed UC office in Lancaster; if you need to speak to a live person. This is our tax dollars at work? Very unacceptable!

I've been going to CareerLink off and on for a little over a month. Whether you're there for job search, upgrade your skills for a better job, or obtain an education; CareerLink is what you make it. Speaking for myself; I dont attend this place to become chummy with the people. Everybody has a specific job title that will enable them to help you for whatever reason but do use them for that. They have the knowledge to aim you in the right direction. They're job is not easy. Hundreds of people utilize the numerous services they offer. I feel it's a wonderful place. Set your mind in gear and go for the career of your liking. Don't let the side stuff discourage you.

I 've started studies here years ago and and was able to become quite successful at finding a job and then from there progressing and moving on to obtaining better jobs earning more money and establishing an unemployment history satisfactory enough to become gainfully employed for 5+ years since 2014

3rd time is not the charm.

I had expressed interest in 3 different programs they had going.

Facilities maintenance - $$$$$. No aid available.

Medical assistant - program dissolved before it got started.

ABC keystone pre apprenticeship - extremely basic training (how to use a drill, how to read a ruler, how to use ladders) basic basic basic. You could learn all this in an 8 hour day of on the job training. Instead it s drug out into a 6 week course

Long story short. None of these programs were worth a damn. And I am in the same boat as when I started.

This is my experience. I m sure others have had a better one. But it just seemed really disorganized, and I felt like I was just being nudged along. I have accomplished literally nothing. People were nice to me. So that gained an extra star.

Career Link is a top-notch organization dedicated to assist job seekers in the workforce and those seeking to be in the workforce. There offer an amazingly broad range of services and programs to equip Lancastrians for employment. At the same time, employers back this nexus effort because they similarly benefit. A caring, professional and worthwhile organization!!

Career link offers an incredible amount of resources for people in all walks of life. Their staff is very helpful and compassionate.
