Very good service.
Food was lovely. Friendly staff.
Felt welcome

We really enjoyed staying here, we had a pizza in the afternoon which was the tastiest pizza I have ever had. In the evening we ate in the Italian restaurant, we both had Halibut and it was delicious, staff very attentive

Staff was very helpful to get ne table for my wheelchair the food was amazing piping hot pitty it was raining its a lovely place to go in the sun but it seemed pretty packed even with the rain

Lovely place but the service outside under covid measures was unacceptably slow. Drinks quite expensive when they eventually arrived.

Plenty of outdoor seating. Staff were well organised. I had the fish and chips which was lovely.

A fantastic place, superb staff and beautiful food.
I highly recommend a visit to this place, you won't regret it.

Visited today (Sunday 16 May) and I'm torn. The food was delicious as always (steak pudding), service was fast and friendly but the whole covid 19 precautions were non existent from what we experienced. We wore masks in the queue for the reservations line but 90% of the staff weren't. No contact details were taken from any of us which I understood they were supposed to take. People moving around their tables, visiting other tables, going to the outside "bar" etc weren't wearing masks. Our drink orders were taken at our table but we were told to go to the green gazebo to order food. I was under the impression that diners were supposed to stay seated unless going to the loo and all orders would be taken at tables to stop guests moving around. I guess this place didn't read that far on the guidelines for reopening. The food was great and the service great but the lack of rules enforcement from management has made me twitchy about returning. There are plenty of places that make me feel safe when eating out, but sadly this isn't one of them.

Fantastic outdoor area, we booked our table however there was a queue so we didn't get sat down till after the time booked and most of the people in front was walk ins. It might of been worth having 2 queues for bookings and walk ins. The food was excellent however its a shame you can't order drinks from the same tent as food. We was told that we had to wait for someone to come to the table to order drinks. Someone came to the table next to us 5 times but ignored us, we asked 6 different staff if we could order drinks, they said it wasn't there job and would walky talky someone to come over. We was sat down for 45 minutes and our food has already arrived before someone finally took our drink orders, not to mention it was an extremely hot day which didn't help. Even though we enjoyed the food we was going to stick around for another drink but didn't fancy waiting possibly another hour due to having to collect the kids. The very polite girl who took our drinks order in the end told us they would be comped as an apology which was very much appreciated. Although this experience wasn't as good as our last, times are hard and businesses are adjusting the best they can and working out the kinks. This won't put us of coming in the future and hopefully things will be better all over by then

My wife her sister and niece went for lunch yesterday.

Unfortunately even though they had booked a table, outside and undercover, for 1:00pm they had to wait at the entrance in the rain for 10 mins before being allowed through.

You have to order AND PAY up front, so if things are not right they already have your money and are less inclined to do anything to make an effort to put it right.



The Prawn sandwiches contained hardly any Prawns but came with some chips, the Sausage and mash was, according to my wife's Niece, adequate at best !!




When the waitress came to collect the plates she asked if everything was ok and when my wife complained was told she would feed it back to the management, the classic brush off when they don't give a damn what you think. !

Don't waste your time or money find somewhere else to spend your hard earned cash.
No one in our family will be going anywhere near this place in the future.
