Nice but some animals looked a bit neglected. I wonder if the animals have enough room to move. The polar bear looked a bit depressed and dirty and was aimlessly walking back and forth. So that's why my question to Ouwehands zoo, is it going well with that polar bear? Very pathetic. But otherwise fun for the kids especially.
Animal park is beautifully landscaped. Especially walking above the bears was amazing. The panda bears in their beautiful enclosure in Chinese style. Bamboo to eat was everywhere. Even too lazy to eat.

Superleuke dierentuin! Heb een abonnement omdat ik hier vaak zomaar een middagje met mijn zoon van twee jaar heen ga. Had hiervoor een abonnement op Burgers' Zoo, en in mijn ervaring is Ouwehands voor kinderen nog leuker, vooral i.v.m. de hoeveelheid speelgelegenheden verspreid over het park.
En uiteraard verder ook altijd weer leuk om een rondje te lopen: ijsberen, berenbos, gorilla's, orang-oetans, olifanten: zomaar een greep van onze favorieten uit de collectie.

Natuurlijk trokken de panda's vooral ons bezoek naar het dierenpark dit keer.
Toch moet ik zeggen dat ik het hele park mooi vind. Het berenbos herinnert me aan mijn moeder die erg betrokken was om regelmatig wat geld over te maken als er weer eens een beer uit het buitenland gehaald moest worden.
Het park zag er ook heel netjes uit. Ik vind een bezoek aan het park zeker een aanrader.

Beautiful zoo with nice animal species and also a lot of play opportunities. In this corona time they have taken useful measures with arrival time sections, sections of unidirectional walking routes, employees who control the number of people in certain areas and distance signs on the pavement everywhere. On the Thursday we were there it was quiet enough to keep away from others everywhere. We deliberately did not go on weekends.

Nice animal park with of course the main attraction the giant pandas. Very nice jungle hall for children. Beautiful bears and wolves forest. But also parts and animal enclosures that need to be tackled, for example Polar bear enclosure.
Nice zoo and fantastic for children. With a very extensive indoor playground, it is a great place to spend the whole day.
Overzichtelijke dierentuin. Zeer geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderen vanwege de vele speelplekken en de overdekte speeltuin. Neem wel droge kleren mee dan kunnen ze lekker ravotten.
Het panda verblijf is mooi de panda's zelf zijn mooi om te zien maar na een paar minuten bamboe etende panda gaat het toch vervelen.
Dan is het berenbos leuker, minder gladjes maar de beren lopen vrij rond in een groot stuk bos waar genoeg afleiding voor ze is. Mooi om te zien dat ze zich niets aantrekken van de wolven die in hetzelfde verblijf zitten.
Dus gerust de moeite waard.

Was disappointing here and there. No clear walking route. Think number of animals missed ... tiger. giraffe ... have to walk back now and then.
Nice zoo, pandas are unique and a enclosure of wolves and bears is very nice. For children, there are nice climbing frames in the gorilla pavilion and a large indoor playground.
Ouwehands dierenpark is one best animal zoo in the Netherlands. Its pandasia (panda house) is newly opened at the end of May. Wow! It is pretty, huge and gorgeous and full of ancient Chinese style. There are 2 new pandas here. They were both sleeping when I visited them. The panda souvenirs shop was full of panda visitors and most of them will grap panda doll. The rest of the zoo is fine and most of the animals are healthy to me. My only suggestion is that the elephants will need more space and airconditoning should be applied to polar bear and pandas. They like cold environment. Sichuan is a very cool and cold province and artic is no need to say.

Fun, nice, beautiful and informative animal park. It is great that dogs are allowed to come along and get good poop bags at the entrance with a snack for the dog: surprisingly nice. Nice restaurants and terraces. Staff is friendly. Come back.
Very nice animal park. Besides the standard animals also very special animals. When you visit the park you will not receive a map, this must be done via mobile. There are walking routes because of covid, however these are ignored and there is no enforcement.

It was ridiculously busy today. They are certainly not geared to this, parking was hell. There were those regulators who preferred to do nothing more than provide information or clear instructions. Eventually In the park it is very busy. They can't handle this. Rows with people everywhere also for the cash registers in the restaurant and everything slowly. Rows in the aquariums and other places of interest. Many renovations where there is nothing to see whole pieces. Entrance Ticket not with discount. A lot of playground for the children, but so busy that there was a traffic jam in the climbing frame .. The only real fun thing was the presentation of wild Bill in the theater at the spot about 3 scary animals .. It was really fun. I would not go back to this zoo that soon. Ticket parking also costs 7.00.
Really nice zoo with lots of children playgrounds. And the adventrous routes. Big brown bears, Big tigers, big elephants with long tusk, white lions, giraffe, panda, wolfs, ice bears, nice aquarium. Animals look happy and healthy unlike Blijdorp.
