Ouwehands Zoo Foundation Reviews

Very nice zoo with good facilities. Of course extra special by the acquisition of the 2 giant pandas, but also Ouwehands Dierenpark is certainly recommended. Even in bad weather, children from 0 to 12 can enjoy themselves for hours in "Ravotaapia", which is Europe's largest indoor play jungle. Besides the possibility to play, scramble, slide, play with water and ride in a monorail, there is catering with terrace and you can enjoy hours of hyperactive otters, prairie dogs and bats.

Nice and uncluttered park. Recommended for young and old.

Very well just a pity that the restaurant was closed I was there with 12 wheelchairs, those people who cannot eat all fries because of their limitations, and it was way too busy at the chip shop there, though two hundred children wanted to eat fries there

Beautiful, clear park. Many opportunities for refreshments. Good parking with traffic controllers.

We were there with our grandson. And we all enjoyed immensely.

Nice zoo. Different places to eat and for the children to play. All 'standard' animals that you expect at the zoo can be found here. The pandas have had a very nice stay. Too bad that it is very busy on a busy day at the beginning. It then spreads with difficulty. Fortunately, that is much better later in the day. We only let the seal show pass us through the very long line, despite the fact that they had organized an extra show

Nice park, nice collection of toucans, hornbills. Sad Oran utan stay, however, the gorillas have done nicely. Aquarium small but nice, a bit outdated.

Was very nice and the weather was good. It was pleasantly busy, so not too busy. The animals showed themselves well today.

Super nice zoo. They are expanding again so definitely not boring.

Nice zoo with a variety of different bear species. Including 2 panda bears. Also variety of other animal species in an almost natural environment. Child-friendly environment with indoor play paradise, animal shows, outdoor play opportunities including water activities.

Beautiful zoo, enough space for 1.5 meters. You get close to the animals, although the lofts are smaller for that.

Great zoo. Lots of activities for smaller children. Continous improvement off animal facilities. Getting better each year.

Of course the peanuts are the highlight. But the rest is certainly worth it. We had a great day.

Not a massive park, the pandas are highly recommended and the prices are reasonable.

Those pandas are of course fantastic. What a great beast.
Rest of the zoo is a bit old, but very pleasant.

Nice spacious but well-arranged park. With room for small children to play.

My husband wanted to see the panda there and it was worth to go around and see other animals. I love that bear that was just standing there nearby the fence because he looks like he is in for modeling so we took a picture of him. He was more entertaining than the panda because when we saw the panda, they were just sleeping and we were not able to see much of them. It is also a very nice place for family and bring your kids there. When you could stop for a snack, your kids can play at the playground. We were able to also get a much closer look of those beautiful giraffe's. Overall, it is a lovely place to bring your family.

Ik miste bij ouwehand dierenpark loop route.
Het Had en is mooie geweest. Dat het in het park een loop route is. Bv van de ingang naar nr 1 dan naar 2 dan naar 3 enz.
Dus er moet een route komen. Waar je automatisch in de route bij alles langs komt. Nu is zoek welk hebben we nog niet gezien. En kan het slecht vinden.

Had a wonderfully quiet day in Ouwehand zoo. There is something to do for the whole family. Ouwehands handles the corona measures well.

Leuk.voor een dagje uit met de hele familie. Zelf dieren zijn toegestaan dus hond kan ook mee.

One of the nicest and most beautiful zoos in the Netherlands. And with the panda bears emergence soon also the most unique. Definitely worth a nice day to spend.

Neat and tidy zoo, beautiful projects for the animals, beautiful enclosures. Neatly maintained, toilets and dining facilities everywhere. Everything has also been thought of with regard to the corona. Safe and good feeling, 1 route that you are allowed to walk but through which you get to see all the animals. Friendly staff and good control concerns 1.5 meters in a pleasant way. The pandas are impressive and a wonderful stay. The bear forest is also super nice and big! Beautiful park, well maintained. Friendly employees.

Big pluses: you 'sit' fairly close to the animals, it is a well-arranged park with good walking distances and a good variety in the range of animals. Negatives: too few toilet units outside the restaurants and the sometimes small-looking animal enclosures. All in all recommended.

Nice zoo, not too big, many different animal species that are well cared for. And especially during the weekend with the adventurers there are also instructive moments about the animals.

I simply thought it was a fantastic park. The Pandas are of course also super cool, we went there just before closing time. That was really great fun, we were able to take beautiful pictures.

Top zoo. Especially now with China Light Festival 2018. Very nice. 5 stars more than worth it.

Erg leuk dierenpark met veel afrikaanse dieren. Veel gezinnen met kinderen die zich kunnen uitleven op de vele speelplekjes en toestellen her en der verspreid.

Absolute must-sees zijn de panda's en de olifanten, maar ook de berenkuil is erg vermakelijk.

Geschikt voor hele familie. Alles is toegankelijk met rolstoel en geschikt voor minder validen.

A zoo like every other zoo. But still fun to visit for a couple of hours .

Nice zoo in a beautiful setting. The zoo has several playgrounds which is very nice for children. Both outside with water for nice weather and a covered one inside for a rainy day. They have a show which is very nice for children. The animals look well cared for and can be seen well from the trails. A few (minor) drawbacks are that some paths are on the narrow side, making it more difficult to walk past each other during busy periods, especially with prams / wheelchairs. Dogs are also allowed in the park.

What a park! Situated in a gorgeous area it is one of the few parks with 2 giant pandas and a bear forrest full of resqued bears. All areas are clean, animals are playful in their spacious forraging grounds and the food options are plenty. Aside from the animals, the park has plenty of playgrounds in various areas for the kids for different ages. Great visit!

Nice zoo, not very big, but the polar bear looked very sad. That's why I only give 3 stars, I felt very sad after seeing him :(

Beautiful Animal Park and very helpful and friendly staff

Zoo looks a bit old-fashioned. I honestly expected a bit more from it. Many animals did not show themselves. What is really super cool are the many really nice climbing machines, spread over the entire terrain. A real challenge for many children. For what there is to see, I think the entrance fee is on the high side.

Nice zoo, even the dog can come inside. Tickets are not really cheap. Cost anything but then you also have something. So it is expensive
