Very nice animal park was only 37 degrees on a very hot day, but due to the many shade spots a little doable . The heat made it nice and quiet.

Cozy zoo, with lots of space and attention for children. Now many visitors for the s. But the ordinary bear forest remains fascinating.

Good that Corona is taken into account. But at the collection points, you have to run against the line and you can't keep a distance. Everywhere it says that there are disinfection points, but where is unclear. Employees also do not always know. Of the five I asked, 1 had an answer. In any case, it is not there in the catering industry. Also at a number of toilets you can not keep distance at the outlet because you have to walk against the queue. The kids had coupons for free placemats, but they could not be given because of corona. You can still sell merchandising. Cannot be explained to the kids. Shame about such a top park.

Great beautiful zoo. Very friendly atmosphere. The kids 14, 12year have also enjoyed themselves. The walking route takes you past all the animals in the park. Especially the bear stay has left a huge impression especially after reading the history of the bears walking around. Of course jet was also nice to see the Panda bears!

The bear enclosure is very nice. Even the panda facility. Plus great play options for the kids. Don't forget clothes for the water playground.

Had a nice day in the park! The only downside was the stay of the Polar Bears, the water was very dirty and the white walls actually.

Nice zoo especially with the dog and with a subscription they are free .. Everything looks clean and the lofts are spacious. For children there is plenty to do .. For the parents there is also plenty of opportunity.

Oubberly in the end. Wanted to see the Pandas. Next time again to Emmen.

Nice park, although the catering industry was very uncomfortable with the corona measures. The walking route also regularly raised questions.

Worth the visit. Animals are in enclosures close to their own habitat. Good to see the pandas, with new cub, and the polar bears, also with a cub. I did not believe that the giant turtle can live to 255 years. They have seen a lot of changes. The park is clean and tidy. Was a pleasure to spend 4 hours at Ouwehands Zoo.

Ouwehands is a nice and cozy animal park where people also do their best during corona times to make it as pleasant as possible for the visitor. Friendly staff and excellent hospitality.
The animals seem to be in good accommodation and the bear / wolf forest and the panda house are recommended.
A great place for an educational day out.

Very nice zoo A lot to see beautiful entrance still old gate

Very pleasant visit to this small and fun Zoo. I think it's the best i visited in the Netherlands so far. The cages aren't big but they are all really carefully thought out to provide a lot of interest for the animals. In fact in the Gorillas cage there is too much for them, you can't see the animals because of all the activities for the monkeys.
There are a few rides for kids and a big indoor play area, perfect for when it is wet. Too perfect; as the kids didn't want to leave the play areas and so we missed quite a few animals.
Just outside the park is a great pancake house, perfect for dinner after the park closes at 5pm.

It is a mix of zoo and sports park which is popular in Nederland. Also soon pandas will be here.

Beautifully laid out and excellent catering facilities

Tigers and lions just slept. Furthermore, top notch, especially the polar bear cub and the red panda!

Beautiful park, animals visible, nice playgrounds. The only downside is the sea lion show, there they can put a bit more structure into it.

Ouwehands remains one of the nicest animal parks in the Netherlands. It is a zoo where children can not only enjoy the animals but also have fun playing. In many places there is an opportunity for climbing, scrambling, sliding, jumping, playing with sand and water. The park is beautifully worked out. Highly recommended.

Not too big, not too small. Nice place to go for a walk.

Nice zoo with enough space for the smallest among us. Variation of outdoor areas, open areas for animals and play areas for the children. A day in Ouwehands flies by and is definitely recommended.

Nice animal park, especially for young families. Ravot Apia is ideal for lunch and play. Very customer-friendly that you can also eat your own food, even in the hospitality industry. Parking is within walking distance as well as a bus stop.

Neatly kept zoo, the only zoo with Panda bears. Great indoor playground with sand and water climbing and scrambling. Also, a train high in the air will make a small lap above a piece of the zoo. There is also a funny sea lion show. It is a very nice zoo for children and of course adults.

A nice Animal Park though I find the entrance price a bit on the high side. But it is good for the maintenance and the animals.

Past glory, maybe 10 or 15 years ago was fun, but compared to Rotterdam Zoo, for example, this is really a zoo with little to see. Aquarium is very dated. You have to really do your best to spot an animal in many places, many animals seem lonely. Very nice playgrounds for small children.

Cool zoo with a big bear park. pandas are highlights! The acquarium is a bit small. The park is well organized and especially suitable for kids and it has the largest indoor playground for kids in Europe.

Remains a nice zoo. Several times a year we come to view our lots in the bear forest. The Pandas are a bit disappointing.

Great zoo. Really a family affair. Have been coming for years and it is always very nice. The staff always seems cheerful. Park us close by and the animals can be admired well. A must for young and old!

If you were in Emmen last week, this is a bit disappointing. But still fun to watch.

Ouwenhand is in de loop der jaren wel sterk verbeterd ten gunste van het dier. Maar het ijsberen verblijf met name waar een ijsbeer alleen verblijft water te groen. Wat ons ook opviel is, dat de ijsberen afval als speelgoed hebben, geen goed voorbeeld. Ook vonden we bij meer wateren, dat dit schoner en beter kan. De zeeleeuwen show vinden we niet meer van deze tijd, sommige kunstjes waren onnatuurlijk.
