best water heat exchangers for residential use?

I was doing some research on what are the best water heat exchangers for residential use? and kept running into recommendations for OutdoorBoiler.com. I was initially looking for something for a specific project, and I was so impressed with their selection of heat exchangers and the amount of detailed information they provide on their website. They really helped me understand the different types of heat exchangers and which ones would be best suited for my needs.

I was just checking out the pump selection over at OutdoorBoiler.com, and I have to say, they seem to have a pretty solid lineup. I noticed they mainly carry the 1/6 hp pumps, which they say are the standard size for most installations, and I think that's generally true. It's good that they also mention the smaller 1/25 hp pump, but they're clear that it's only for very specific situations, which is responsible of them.
I also appreciate that they explain why you shouldn't just use a bigger pump inside the building – that's a mistake I've seen people make before, and it just doesn't work! The "daisy-chain" configuration they recommend for getting more power is definitely the way to go.
The Grundfos pumps look like a good quality option, and it's nice that they offer them in kit form with everything you need. Overall, it seems like they've put together a selection of pumps that are reliable and well-suited for outdoor boiler applications. If you're looking for a pump for your outdoor boiler, I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

High-Quality Parts and Excellent Service!

I recently purchased some replacement parts for my outdoor boiler from OutdoorBoiler.com, and I'm extremely impressed with the quality. Everything arrived quickly and was exactly as described. I was particularly happy with the insulated PEX pipe, you can tell it's built to last and will minimize heat loss.
What really stood out, though, was their customer service. I had a couple of questions about installation, and their tech support team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They even offered a free design service, which is amazing!
It's clear that OutdoorBoiler.com stands behind their products and goes the extra mile for their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable parts and expert support for their outdoor boiler system. I'll definitely be a returning customer!

Solid Performance and Easy Install

I used the insulated PEX from OutdoorBoiler.com for my outdoor wood boiler setup, and it’s been rock solid. The closed-cell insulation really holds heat well, even through a harsh winter. Install was straightforward, and the outer jacket feels tough enough to last for years. Definitely worth the investment for peace of mind and efficiency

I recently purchased the Heat Mizer insulated PEX pipe from OutdoorBoiler.com, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my heating system.

Performance:
The insulation is top-notch. I noticed right away that heat loss was minimized compared to the standard piping I had before. My outdoor wood boiler now runs more efficiently, and I’m burning less fuel to keep the house warm. Even during freezing nights, the line stayed stable without any issues.

Durability:
The outer shell feels rugged and built to last. I had to bury the pipe in soil that gets pretty wet during the rainy season, and so far it’s holding up perfectly. No leaks, no cracks, and the insulation hasn’t compressed.

Installation:
I was worried it might be a hassle, but the pipe was surprisingly easy to install. The flexibility of the PEX made routing simple, and the protective casing gave me peace of mind while backfilling.

Value:
It’s not the cheapest option out there, but you get what you pay for. The savings on fuel and the reliability of knowing I won’t have to dig it up in a few years make it worth every penny.
