Our Social Fabric (OSF) will always hold a special place in my heart. I started volunteering with them years ago and have since joined the board. OSF receives textile and sewing related donations from a number of different sources and sells them to the public at extremely discounted prices. Every sale has new feature items, that are always much less expensive than what you would pay in a fabric store. Sales are held twice per month and are open to the public. Our online store is open 24/7 and ships across Canada. This is an amazing organization that I will support for a lifetime!

My favourite place to buy fabric is at Our Social Fabric! As a textile recycling initiative, OSF makes it possible for me to be able to afford to buy fabric to sew as much as I want, as well as to feel better about the sustainability of my sewing practice. I cannot recommend it enough!
