My family and I visited for weeks and were totally ignored. We were also interested in placing membership, but didn't get any help in that regard. Inquired about "life groups" and were told there was a waiting list. Really?

Second Otter Creek Unites Baptist Church is located on Kingstown road right near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line just a little ways from highway 27. I have never attended my regular church services here but I have been to a couple funerals that were held inside the church before burial in the Kingtown Cemetery that is located on the lot adjacent from the church. They have a nice shelter behind the church that they use for church events and family sometimes use for family reunions.
Very nice church. Really enjoyed the music at the 11:00 service.

This church helped me get through the hardest days of my divorce that caused me so much grief and shame that I literally fell asleep every night for nearly a year in a panic attack.
Major props to the Hall, Lipscomb, and Hunt families for caring for me...panick attacks and all.
Definitely greeted in a welcoming fashion. BUT since we didnt bring our phones in, the song service was completely unavailable to us. <except in a concert type of way, with drums, bass, a lead and back up singers; complete with multiple cameras and stage lighting> This is MOST DEFINITELY NOT a church of Christ in the traditional sense! The Lords supper was prayed over in a video, by a woman, with no reference to the why at all. As a matter of fact, her video about exceptance and love covered both the bread and the juice. The service/preachers 'sermon' was concluded with a 'go in peace' rather than an invitation. What if someone wants to be baptized for the remission of their sins?!?!? The service was obviously geared for kids under 30, and im not knocking that, i personally, am just looking for something more! There were NO old ppl! Who are the leaders in this church?!?! 22 yr olds?
Shepard Dr Lee Camp and Mr Don, I will call him, prayed for me about a month ago when I was in a rough place. I am feeling much better now and have continued on my journey and have continued to attend O.C. Church. The surviving the storm class has been a blessing as well. And Mr Frank Bennett has such a sweet spirit and he prayed for me, too.
8:40 service was acapella. It was beautiful singing.
What's not to love?
Awesome Praise team-led a capella worship during early service. (Second service is instrumental. Also good, but not dissimilar from every other Nashville church.) Really nice to have options.
Inspiring, intelligent messages. Great minister. Always culturally relevant and challenging.
Very warm and friendly for a big church.
