Everyone involved in the ordering process is sweet as pie and the little personal touches are exactly why I choose to shop here rather than a big box store. Maker House Co is my go-to place for unique, hand crafted and local gifts that help to support artists in the community, in the city, in the province and in our country. Always a good mix of food/drink gifts, art, cards and so many other things there. Supporting a place like this, especially during the pandemic, is so important. Curbside pick up was super easy, and when they re-open, the store is well kept and always has great gift ideas for you. Staff are friendly - I hope you guys keep up all the great work during this really challenging time!
Love the selection of this store. One of my favorite local place to shop in Ottawa. I ordered online from them and they provided me with all the information needed once I arrived to get my curb side pick up.
A terrific shop offering beautifully crafted local goods. Parking can be challenging and prices reflect the handmade nature of the items. It's got a nice community vibe and is run and staff by folks who are passionate about the products they sell.
Bought a custom Walnut dining table from them. Gareth was great in helping capture our vision and Yves did a great job creating it. Highly recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a custom piece.

A superb business with a terrific selection of Canadian made products. Customer service is excellent. I bought a yo-yo from them and the string broke after one day. When I got in touch with them, they offered to replace the yo-yo. Gotta love the small business people standing by their wares. A+

Excellent little store with a ton of locally made products. It's mostly wood furniture and decorations but there are a few other interesting odds and ends (love the rail spike beer opener!). Great place for home decor and gifts for those who are hard to shop for. Staff is friendly and helpful too!
