Yes I was helped after my car accident I had no choice to come there.
I will never come to OSU for anything ever again. A week after my car accident I had a wound vac on and it kept beeping meaning it was getting full it was it was in a Sunday I had to go to the ER. Well a nurse took it upon herself to tell me that wasn't what I was in there for I wanted pain meds. That's not why I was I there. For another round everyone I've talked to on the phone have been super rude like I'm inconvenience their time. I don't have a job I have to find side work to get money to pay my bills. I will. I'm not from Columbus. Area I live in Ross county I get lost alot. A woman was rescheduling me at The spine center on Taylor avenue they were so rude to me I don't even want to have anything to do with it now. I rather be in pain thanks though!

DO NOT have a baby here. They are the slimiest most crooked hospital. I had my baby girl there and was VERY clear that she would be staying in the room with me as I was nursing. First of all I should probably file a complaint because they came into my room at 2:30am while we were all sleeping and took my baby! I was extremely tired and out of it from being in labor and when my husband woke up at 5:30 she was NOT in our room and woke me up panicking and I couldn t remember what happened. He immediately went outside and told them to bring her back ASAP. They claimed they were weighing her but not sure why they had to take her in the middle of the night and why it could not wait until morning. Anyways fast forward to getting the bill for her. They charged me almost $5,000 for a NURSERY CHARGE. They charged it for 2 full days even though we were only there a day and a half. When I called about it, they claimed this is a charge they do REGARDLESS if they stay in the nursery or not. That doesn t really make sense to me since I was the one feeding my baby, changing my baby and soothing her as she was crying and fussy. Now fast forward years later, apparently they stopped taking my monthly payments without a call or letter and sent it to the Ohio Attorney Generals office. Now my tax refund is being offset. That s completely ridiculous for an amount under $200. If I would have gotten a letter or call or email I would of happily paid it. It should be illegal to charge thousands of dollars for a service the mother is doing herself.

I'm putting plug in for the OSU Wexner Medical Center, because I feel like they treated me really well when I was getting vaccinated. About a minute or so after I got the shot, I started having difficulty breathing, I felt hot all over, and I worried, "Am I dying?" until I couldn't think anymore and put my head down. They have huge areas organized for vaccinations, so they couldn't have someone with each person all times, but someone came over to check on me pretty quickly and had a doctor with me shortly. Apparently, I have a thing with needles--I've passed out once before after getting a shot. They took me in a wheelchair to a recovery area, where they offered me some water and a granola bar (the doctor implied that skipping breakfast may have contributed to the situation). The doctor was really nice and helpful, just by talking with me to lower my anxiety. People stayed with me until I was well enough to leave. All-in-all, I felt like I was taken care of and as safe as one could be.

UPDATE (4/26/21): Today (4/26/21) I was informed by their billing department there is a mapping error with Cigna and OSU billing. They don t know yet how many accounts were effected. I ve contacted the department of health to help follow up.

Don t use. Billing department is awful. Been a week and I still can t get an answer in multiple issues I raised on my bill. I ve had this issue multiple times now. You ll be better off going somewhere else. If you are a current patient, question everything on your bill - they might be over billing you.

Absolutely horrible waiting time. I would describe the actual treatments and staff if I had made it into the hospital. My husband has been waiting now 8 EIGHT HOURS to make it past the waiting room. By waiting room I mean outside because there were people everywhere. The entire time we were there in those 8 hours I saw maybe 10 people taken back. Not very impressive from such a large hospital.

The 24/7 assistance was very helpful! Arriving their after 8pm to visit two parishioners, the front desk staff was courteous and hospitable. Their directions sent me in the right direction the first time. Arriving at the patient s the nursing staff was equally as kind and attentive to their responsibilities. As a clergy in the community, the staff made my visit to two parishioners that much better!

Wife had C-section on may1st & I couldn t have asked for a better care for my wife and New born. Each and everyone the nurses the doctors were just phenomenal. Good care professional and very friendly. From the surgery to post operative care each step was done with care and excellence. If i could give 10 star i would have. Thanks Guys.

Doctor was great,surgery went well. Then I got nothing but trouble from the nurse's. We refused a restraining belt that hurt my wife.then I wasn't allowed to stay.unless I shut up and let them hurt my wife. Hope to leave same day.

I mean it's never fun having to go to the emergency room, but the doctors and whole team provide amazing care. Stay patient as we are 1 of ____ but they approach their care indivualistically. The observationnbays aren't bad either with a bed you can control, a TV, and if you stay overnight, a mask and ear plugs.

I m brought someone in to the ER for a psych evaluation. We have now been sitting we for 7 1/2 hours. It s 2:00in the morning with no doctor in site. A nurse practitioner called the patient and discussed their case with them over the phone with her and in front of all other patients. This is UNACCEPTABLE! There has been no privacy at all in here. I watched a nurse wait to call transport for another patient for 2 hours before he finally called; only to then tell the parent it would be 4 hours before transport would come!!! People are in crisis when they come into the ER. You wouldn t leave someone with a broken leg, migraine or heart attack lay for 8 hours. This kind of treatment or lack of treatment for the mentally ill patients makes me sick. Don t even get me started in the fact that this part of the facility smells like urine and hasn t been updated since it was built yet the money for construction seems to be pouring into every other aspect of this hospital. I m over it and I m taking this higher.
