I'm Cattani Gianpaolo .. unfortunately a regular at San Bortolo but I'm referring to the last hospitalization.
I have a Silicosis and I am doing chemotherapy because of a Leukemia, and from the 118 call I arrive in P.S. and admission to Pneumology all professional and perfect, including hospitalization in Pneumo.
I wanted to thank the Picc team of the 5th floor medicine where they professionally inserted it on 3 February by Riccardo Tezza and removed it this morning, for end of use and always very professionally by Renato Moresco.
My opinion can only be positive and despite the cuts, and those are seen, I say thank you guys

To know something you have to ask for permits / holidays, take 1 hour for half an hour for just 5 minutes and then maybe not know anything equally?
Disgusting, although I had an agreement with a doctor that I could have information TELEPHONE given the distance and the impossibility of going to the San Bortolo Hospital, it causes several problems.

in spite of myself I'm editing a negative review because it reflected too much bureaucracy and not very scientific and diagnostic interest towards patients ... shame because I had an excellent idea hospital company in question. nurses and health workers instead EXCELLENT ... doctors ... less !!!
I confirm that after a few days and hearing the opinion of some other patients and family members. Almost all complain of a stalemate where no diagnosis is made but there is an immediate search for discharge by the health professionals

I'm sorry to see that when it comes to public administration, there's always something wrong with it.
I had to change my attending physician as he retired from the profession; in the communication sent to me there were two e-mail addresses to which to send the documentation avoiding going to the offices.
After trying for two days with the e-mail that came back, I finally managed to talk to an employee who kindly told me that the e-mails indicated in the communication WERE WRONG !!!!!
Who knows how many people like me have found themselves in trouble.
Honestly I was shocked, give a service to speed up the practices and it is wrong ...... without words !!!

Very competent doctors, they know what they do, except for some cases that should be fired. Very long waiting because of the cuts on hospital staff going to create a overcrowding, especially in the emergency room. We need to invest in health.

I would like to give 5, but I give 4 stars for two...

I would like to give 5, but I give 4 stars for two reasons. The most important concerns the staff of the PS, which in various cases has shown unprofessional attitudes and less human with patients. To give an idea, they seem to think that people decide to go to the emergency room like this, to spend 6 hours of their day, and waste time on them. In practice, if you do not enter by losing liters of blood or screaming like a madman you can also stay at home, they will treat you like a whining who complains uselessly, wasting their time. In one particular episode they literally drugged my partner who complained of excruciating back pain after mocking him, giving him a dose of intravenous drugs so disproportionate that it turned yellow, he was unable to stand, and when our doctor saw the report said that such a thing was almost a complaint.
Then there are also very good doctors, absolutely, but just out of respect for these good doctors should make a clean sweep of people clearly lacking in vocation.
Second point, less vital but still very important: the Parcheggiooooo !! But where do we have to put the car in? !! ?? It's always full, at every hour, it's kind of a shame in a hospital!
For everything else, nothing to say, I found more or less always competence and availability.
A plus point for the information box gentlemen, always polite, friendly and efficient and even a positive thought goes to the cleaner, no one ever spins them but they are fundamentally important in a hospital ...

I can truly define the availability and humanity that I have received; I wish to extend my feeling of gratitude also to those who have spent their time providing me with extra-sanitary information, for example: facilities where you can stay overnight near the hospital.

From this experience I have confirmed that, as we often hear, a great Primary ago, of his Department, a great Department!

The ways, tone and expressions with which the pathology, the treatment to which I would have been subjected and the possible consequences were exposed to me with the utmost clarity, allowed me to face the event with absolute peace of mind. A pre and post treatment aid that is invaluable and difficult to explain.

Thanks Dr. Casentini to you, and to the whole team of your Department, my gratitude will always go.

I accompanied my parents for a specialist visit. Apart from the too central position of the hospital, not easy to reach, once you enter by car (with disabled pass) the problems begin. Non-existent indications. We ask and luckily we find access. On the ground floor a bar, managed by the same company that manages the bar and canteen of the hospital in Padua but with much higher prices, unable to make a decent and even cold cappuccino. We ask where the eye ward is on the third floor but no one seems to know. They tell us to follow a red stripe on the floor that takes us to a completely different place. There are no indications anywhere. With difficulty and by asking more people we find a way to get there. I leave my mother in the hands of an assistant who will accompany her to the operating room, a little worried about the total lack of empathy towards a disoriented and agitated elderly person. Not very positive experience.

I found myself in the hospital of San Bortolo after a serious fracture of the femoral neck fracture. It would take a long time to describe how professional the operation was and how to take care of me. I will only say that orthopedic doctors told me exactly about the operation and there were no questions that would have left unanswered. A separate team was the entire team of nurses in the orthopedics department, such a level of empathy and care for the distant patient. That's why I thank all my dear nurses again. I wish to express my deepest gratitude in particular to dr. Fornezza for her great humanity and in the decision to remedy as soon as possible, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the head nurse Mrs. Valeria and to the whole team of stereotaxic radiosurgery "Cyberknife". In February 2018 my mother suffering from 10 years for an inflammation of the trigeminal with hypoaesthesia of the left part of the face and the left part of the tongue was subjected to radiosurgical treatment which over time is giving excellent results. In this ward it was received with extreme courtesy and competence by all the medical and paramedical staff. Practically one of the wards of the Vicenza hospital that is working really well, as the Hippocratic oath commands, with people who work with love for their work and great humanity.

I want to give 5 stars for the kindness of the operators I dealt with. Very short waiting times, gold compared to Bologna for example. Cleaning, organization and modernity of the structure. Unfortunately I didn't solve my problem even if the neuroradiologist dr. Iannucci is really good, unfortunately I think he has a lot of work and maybe he can't devote the necessary attention to cases that may seem simpler, but that hide complexities. I must say, however, that unlike Trieste, he performed discolysis, without anesthesia, without making me feel the slightest pain .... great dexterity, humanity and in any case willingness to dialogue.

Friday 4/1/2019, I had a second appointment at the CMET AMBULATORS at 9.00 to visit my 82-year-old mother with a thrombosis. I state that the daughter was on crutches because of polio, my mother in a wheelchair with foot pain and my sick sister who accompanied us, the doctors arrived at 9.36, there were 6 patients waiting then us. like the first visit, I don't want to say, but to the usual I didn't say I was a former employee, two people after us entered first, one according to her was a former hospital with her mother. WE ENTER at 12.30 and we were there from 9 with two doctors who were there. Visit for 10 minutes, the doctor makes us go through the Dispencer Corner to take the medicines but this one doesn't have them, good. In the meantime, my mother was ill and we had to run home with difficulty to be able to give her the medicines for the triplets.
Go to the doctor's office in the evening to get me to make a prescription issued by the hospital, I state that on the door there would be a large SIGN reading ONLY RECIPES cmque after an hour and a half this DOCTOR who was there only to make recipes and in the meantime he had only made them two that of 1 gentleman and mine, confident of his work I did not check and I went out at 21.30. THIS "DOCTOR" HAS MADE ME IN REMARKABLE DIFFICULTIES, HE DID NOT WRITE THE DATE, NOR IF VIALS or TABLETS AND NOTHING HOW MANY BOXES. THE DAY AFTER I GO TO THE PHARMACY AND I WAS WITHOUT DRUG FOR RECIPE NOT CONFORMING WITH MY MOTHER WITH A THROMBOSIS JUST DONE. COMPLIMENTS !!!! THE OTHER TWO COLLEAGUES WORKED LIKE MADTI AND THIS HERE ON TWO RECIPES ONE MY AT LEAST, HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO IT CORRECTLY ... INSTEAD OF FACILITATING YOU THIS WHICH WAS ALSO RUDE HAS CREATED MEAN DISCOMFORT ... BE MORE CAREFUL IN THE CHOICE OF THE STAFF, BECAUSE THEY PLAY WITH THE LIFE OF THE PEOPLE AND NOT WITH THE TRAINS.

Very negative experiences in the San Bortolo gynecological emergency room. After being seen for stomach pain following an endometriosis operation, they couldn't even understand what my wife's real situation was. The only thing the doctor could do was administer a painkiller. I was admitted to the obstetrics department about 6 months ago, when my son was born in September. In the delivery room I found a really good and competent midwife as well as the nursery workers I found in the ward who helped me a lot. Unfortunately, my satisfaction is lowered to two stars because in the ward during my hospitalization I found a very rude obstetrician: the same day, after giving birth I was taken to the room and how they fixed me, this obstetrician, kicked out of the department in a very anipatic way my husband, not even the time to tell me that he would come back at 17, the day after I mistakenly rang the bell and she so rudely asked who he was and then to be more careful, there are ways and ways to say the same things. In a similar environment, where we work among sensitive women (remembering that a birth, caesarean or natural is not a walk) and with dad who have waited for that moment, I think that kindness and a little 'understanding are fundamental . If you respond with arrogant tones then better change jobs.

Hello everyone, I went to the emergency room San Bortolo of Vicenza around 10 to the children's department with my daughter who was 40 of fever. despite having explained the situation to the doctor, however, insisted in asking me why I had gone to the hospital for a simple high fever ... after looking at her indignantly I pointed out that my daughter was only 12 months and that with the fever so high was opportune to visit it, I would have gone to my pediatrician but on Saturday he does not receive.
Without giving her even a look I put a classic thermometer in my hand telling me to measure the temperature again, I will not be practical but it is really difficult to measure the axillary temperature to children so small, I asked to have an infrared thermometer to facilitate the thing but they replied that it was not reliable.
Despite seeing me in difficulty nobody intervened to give me a hand.
After waiting almost an hour and a half I decided to leave because I did not seem to have the tools or at least the amount of staff needed to receive me.
I solved finding a pediatrician who received me privately and then paid to make a diagnosis that could have made me in ten minutes too.
I did not seem to have asked much if not to look at a year-old girl who was not well.
I remembered that people do not come to the emergency room for fun or to waste time on the staff.
... We pay a lot of health taxes but at the end of this hospital they do not have the necessary resources to assist you in the right way.
Never again.
