This office has been wonderful. Dr. Robert Smith is a wonderful doctor and his nurse always gets back with me in a timely manner.
Their physical and occupational therapists are excellent. They have a great set up with the doctos s office and therapist s office attached, making it convenient to schedule appointments back to back. The PT/OT tries to work with your schedule and even have appointments as late as 5:15pm, which helps to have the appointment late so you don t have to miss work.
Their surgery center has a great set up. They provide the person in the waiting room (my husband) with a device that keeps them updated throughout the process. Plus, they meet with the person (my husband) and explain what happened during surgery.
I highly recommend this group

Ortho Tennessee should be embarrassed by the way they harass their patients. I quit treatment early so I would not accrue to large a bill and could pay my balance in a timely manner-which I did. Last week I receive a call and am warned that it will be recorded--my account had been paid in full 8 days prior. The lady on the phone assured me that the call was in error--today I receive a bill for $200 (I HAVE NO BALANCE). There are many people who would have automatically overpaid on their accounts-it is so difficult to follow the paper trails from Ortho Tennessee. I need to have my shoulder examined, I probably need the follow up that I didn't have but I will NEVER return to Blount Orthopedics/Ortho Tennessee and I will encourage everyone that I can to seek orthopedic services elsewhere.

Great Doctors. Ridiculous waiting times. Watched several patients go in before us after being checked in first. Our doctor wasn t available so we waited over and hour on the physicians assistant and asked why it was taking so long. Was told he was running a little behind but finally we got back there. Great doctors but after surgery seems like office was a joke unfortunately.

Made appointment for my 17 year old. Asked for a doctor who worked on the 15 year old daughter of a friend. Was told by appointment desk that doctor didn t work with pediatric patients. Told them my son is almost 6 feet tall and is not a pediatric patient. Was given an appointment with an appropriate doctor. Went to appointment, got x rays before doctor even laid eyes on my son, doctor walked in and said he couldn t treat my son because he isn t a pediatric patient. Appointment rescheduled with right doctor. Office charged me $365 because my insurance did not cover him. Tried to talk to office, they didn t care. Got a health advocate to speak with them, got 25% off. Thanks for nothing ortho Tennessee!

Terrible place to work, at least within surgery at UT, I'm assuming the office jobs aren't much better. The worst communication I have ever seen within a company. Human Resources is absolutely clueless as to what goes on outside the four walls of their office. Also, the most god awful management I have ever had to deal with. A dead fish could do a better job. And if you're a pregnant employee... they WILL discriminate against you.

Great Doctors, Poor Business Management. They feel if put something in the mail that it s 100% going to make it to you. The management team is very rude, hateful and have no consideration for other human beings. Also if they can mess up your life by all means they will do it! Do yourself a Favor go somewhere else!
