Although Dr. Nieto was nice but him or someone else is ultimately responsible to make sure procedures are followed. I called and gave them my insurance information and they said they were in my network even the day of my first visit I asked them, so I had an order for MRI and went back for my second visit today , the receptionist wanted me sign a paper to acknowledge that Dr. Nieto is out of my network, I said but you told me he was on my first visit, she started telling me yes we thought he was but it was a mistake and tried to convince me to sign and see the doctor , I said no and left because they wasted my time by not giving me the right information and now they want me to pay the extra, not sure if they did this intentionally to just get me in there or it was a mistake but regardless they didn't do their job right.

Its been about a year since my last visit. They kept me in a waiting room for an hour and I had to leave. I asked them to reschedule but I still have not received a call back. I limped out of there and they don t know if I dropped dead or what. And they do not care.

Another patient mill trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I had an appointment at the same time as 4 others and was held in the waiting rooms for an hour before I left. I have not received a call back since. Go somewhere else.

I thought I would never move my arm again. Helge the PA was calming and Dr. Alexander was a miracle worker. Full movement no pain and the surgery was exactly what they described. Amazing. The entire staff has been fantastic. Double disc replacement, c5 and c6

Initially, the doctor was nice, unfortunately, my case was complex due to the injuries I sustained in an accident. The doctor was dismissive and didn t seem to want to do much after Cortizone shots. I even told him, would you want your wife or your sister to stay in this condition? The Cortizone shot caused my tissue to atrophy and this side effect was never explained to me. The wait time is long most of the time. I m sure that there are some good doctors in this practice maybe you just have to get lucky enough to pick them or be assigned to them. It s sad; some doctors need a sensitivity or compassion chip.

Great experience with four out of five doctors I have seen here. One was a bit more aggressive in his approach to treatment and I just didn t want to jump into having major surgery, but otherwise he was very thorough. The other docs were much more conservative in their approach. Their staff and assistants are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend OSI, and their partners in Irvine, Hoag Orthopaedic Institute (HOI).

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Rivadeneyra. Had major swelling and pain in my right knee and did physical therapy for 3 months. Went back for my check-up and asked for an MRI as it was not improving and 3 Physical Therapists said I had signs & symptoms of a torn meniscus. He said to me "I never want to see you here again unless you are in extreme pain and then I'll give you a cortisone shot." Who says that to a patient? At first I thought he was kidding but he wasn't. He said that with people my age this is very common and to go enjoy my life. Really? I can't even bend my knee, can't exercise and was in pain; he is very dismissive. So I went to another doctor and explained my problem. He immediately scheduled an MRI and I have a horizontal tear in my meniscus. I knew it as after 3 months I was not getting better. My new doctor drained the fluid from my knee, gave me a cortisone shot and I am doing much better. I can now bend my knee without stiffness and the swelling went away. I do not recommend Dr. Riva, he is far too busy to really care about you, and he may tell you not to come back again; so I didn't and received better care with a second opinion. I normally don't write reviews but just want to save you the time and physical and emotional pain of seeing him.
