Wow. If you want a really delicious meal, white table cloths etc, this is your spot. Came here for a group celebratory lunch and everything was spot on. Would highly recommend.

I don t believe in giving five stars to be nice. Orrery deserves the highest rating. I just had lunch there with a small group of local friends and everything was fantastic by any standards. On top of the wonderful flavors, the service was top notch and the prices very fair. I would say that given food quality lunch at Orrery is a bargain. The location is great too, though I have limited knowledge of London and the room is very well designed.

Nice restaurant fairly pricey. Staff very attentive. More terrace than roof top. 12.5% service charge not used to this being a northener!!

Amazing high end French restaurant overlooking a beautiful church garden in the heart of Marylebone, Orrery is an elegant feast on the eyes and senses. Start with a drink on the roof terrace and then move into the main restaurant for spectacular views and opulence.
Service is exemplary. Food is delicious and perfectly sized leaving you satisfied but not over full even after 3 courses and a coffee.
I will remember the Lamb Wellington for years to come. Start with the seafood raviolo if available

It's a great place for dinner. The customer are really happy and the worker are amazing.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service from all members of staff was exemplary. We were able to have drinks on the beautiful sunny terrace before moving to the light and airy dining room. There is a wide choice for each course on the lunch set menu. We shall be back!

Overcharging. Not the perfect cuisine we had expected. Ordered turnedo rossini medium rare and it arrived welldone. The chef had the opposite opinion when we returned it, nevertheless, the new one was as we had wished it to be. The waiters very helpful and polite.

I came to Orrery for my 30th birthday - wanted to celebrate it with my partner with a special dinner. I filled in the form they sent stating the event. It even asked for a photo of us so they could greet us when we arrive. I thought that was a nice touch and really got me excited about the experience.

Pros: The food was superb and the waiter's attention to detail in regards to the foodservice was impeccable. So from that perspective, it was amazing.

Cons: When we got there they didn't necessarily know if we had a reservation and they sat us at a table on the terrace that was right next to the service station so there was a lot of clunking and back and forth. There was nothing special about it, no special table reserved and I am not sure why they asked if it was a special event. That raises expectations for at least a proper greeting or a nicer table.

So, if you want good food in a nice atmosphere it's definitely the place to go, but if you want a special event, not sure if it's the best place to feel that extra touch.

Another refurbishment, another wonderful meal. This place has been around for 20ish (?) years and is always evolving (in a cool way, not an annoying way). Lunch on the terrace on a beautiful summer day is a London treat--such a charming vantage point--and a bargain all things considered. It's the rare place where you can splurge and go crazy or just have a light snack/drink at the front: either way it's wonderful and equally satisfying.

Very slow service--seemed like some of the waiters were having a subtle dispute with each other, with the result being the attention paid to the patrons declined. great food, but very pricey.

Everything about the restaurant is amazing, from the warm welcome by the receptionists, the waiting team and knowledgeable sommeliers to the mouthwatering food.

Great service 1 Michelin Star food and set up great value for money.

I recently has a lovely evening at Orrery last night! A romantic, intimate setting with impeccable service and delicious food. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a big smile and the evening went from strength to strength. I will definitely be back.

Returned for the first time after 15 years having been here regularly in 2000-2003 when working around the corner. Nice to see that the restaurant is still at the top of its game. Excellent food and service with an outstanding wine list and knowledgeable sommelier to help you choose. Lunchtime menu offers good value too. Hope to be back soon!

Amazing set menu. Cannot recommend enough. I loved the beef shin and the parfait dessert.

The food was alright and the managers were lovely but our waiter was giving us bad looks and tutting and refusing to explain what was in our food we had to change waiter and then the same old waiter proceeded to give us dirty looks as he walked past and then swore at us in Italian thinking we wouldn t understand, absolutely disgusting service can not believe someone is allowed to work there especially after they SWORE at the customers.

We then asked one of the ladies to tell us his name for review and to talk to the company but she also had a rude attitude black dress black hair
And refused to give us the name of the worker.

Hmm they try hard but outcome does not make a difference when comparing to other similar french restaurants.

Fancy French style restaurant. Everything looks good. Perfect for hi-end experience. Only my complain would be the food portion is pretty small and quite expensive.

Lovely imaginative food beautifully cooked. A little on the expensive side but well worth it for a treat.

After a few hours shopping, it was good to sit down in this cozy beautiful place for food. Really friendly staff and loved braised beef! They do get busier as the night settles in and the staff are also busier so we had some.small issues like we had coffee without milk for about 10 minutes and chocolate served before dessert arrived but all in all we all enjoyed it.

Beautiful decor and great staff. Cheese board was a highlight, was fun to get to choose all the different types. Gnocchi overcooked and amuse bouche was unnecessary as wasn't very tasty. We enjoyed the evening standard menu however so overall it was an enjoyable experience and good value

We dined again at the Orrery and were saying that we have simply never been disappointed - in a more positive vein ............. the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, yet supported by a very professional team in the restaurant that helps it retain some of the crispness you associate with the very best restaurants .............. and this is one of those.
The food is beautifully cooked and presented, the amuse bouche are always interesting and the service attentive without being to intrusive.
Its just THE place I choose to come to when I know I want great food in a charming and quietly relaxing environment.

Fantastic food, all was excellent. Service by the french speaking guide from the Pacific Ocean was fantastic. Highly recommend this place for a special dinner. The crab and the beef for main were to die for!
