Orms is the place to go for everything optical like cameras, binoculars and related equipment. Critically different in that experienced sales staff can help you in all aspects of their product line. I never leave disappointed. Recently I took a 16 year old Nikon Binoculars in for repair. After all this time Orms can get them fixed, albeit at the price of a new pair, but probably not the same quality. Covid19 protocols followed with care.

The staff are always extremely helpful, and their selection is one of the best within the CBD and arguably all of Cape Town. They also offer second-hand equipment at a discount rate, which is perfect for the cameraman on a budget.
Placing quotations with them is also a good idea, as you may receive assistance with discounts if your order quantity is sufficient.
Definitely stop by - if not only for the free coffee!
