The wait wasn t long and the staff was very attentive. They made sure that I was diagnosed properly and that I was able to drive myself home. A very positive experience for me. I was better within a few days and I am grateful. Thank you so much for all that you do.

This is a 21st Century State of the Art Medical Facility. As a Veteran receiving my healthcare from the VA for the past 6 years, I have been very fortunate and have received quality care. I relocated to Florida from PA and I was going to the Philadelphia VA.... Big Difference. By the VA being ascetically pleasing it makes it a calmer environment overall. In my opinion

I waited 6 weeks to see my new primary, I hadn't been to the va due to having private insurance. I lost my insurance after have a cervical corpectomy and being unable to keep my insurance. So after waiting another 3 hours I meet my my new primary. She asked me for a list of medications that I take and I take several. She starts to read theist and when she gets to the pain mefd her attitude went south quickly. She informed me that they would not provide me with pain medication even though my private doctor has been giving them to me for 4 years. I have chronic severe pain from multiple spinal injuries including the corpectomy. She then says we do not prescribe pain medication. Which I found strange and refers me to mental health. I don't or didn't then have any mental issues. I just wanted to continue my pain management and physical therapy. She refuses me any other treatment pending the mental health exam. So I went back to my private Dr and have been seeing him for another year. Well now I'm afraid that I have a brain tumor and don't know if I should go to a private er or give the va an er cjance...any thoughts?

I received my first Covid vaccine at this facility today as a walk in patient. I received an email the day before that they have opened vaccines to all veterans eligible for care at the facility, regardless of age.

They could not have done a better job throughout the whole process from the signage guiding you from the parking garage all the way to the waiting area, to chairs along the socially distanced queue in a hallway for patients who couldn t stand the whole time, to the efficient check in and administration process, to the organized and well run observation area.

Thank you Lake Nona VA for taking care or your veterans! I ll see you in a few weeks for dose two!
