Sauce was overpowering. Cheese wasn't tasty. It just tasted like a take home pizza.

Pizza was perfect, staff was friendly and very fast. It was particularly busy so our appetizer came out after the pizza, and they took the appetizer off the bill, and gave us two of them. Will definitely be going back again.

I wanted a nice New York style pizza you could get on the streets of Brooklyn and I wanted it cheesy. BOY was this pizza cheesy. It was one of the most exciting cheese pizza's I've ever had. Our waiter was completely genuine and a great dude. He even brought me a single pepperoncini when I expressed interest in the little yellow devils. Don't get pizza from anywhere else on Bardstown Road if you love yourself.

Delicious! Pizza was awesome. The "original" crust is slightly thicker than your average delivery pizza crust. Toppings were generously portioned. Salad (Italian chopped) was also quite large- big enough for a light meal for sure.

I've been looking for a better pizza in Louisville. Haven't found it yet.

Not sure if the best pizza in Louisville, but they sat us down immediately on a busy, rainy Saturday night. Excellent food and service. No complaint that the cocktails were full to the brim.

I had never been here before and I can't believe how good the pizza is. I learned there is one in New Albany, so it's likely to become an expensive problem! Great food, great service and great atmosphere!

Service and food was great!! My table received are food for free after spinning the wheel, which they do weekly.

I was served a fresh brewed pot of salt tea unto my surprise gulf of Mexico in my glass my meal was compd. But my belly hurt so it didnt make up for the mistake.

With little ones, I am quite tired of pizza. That being said, Impellizzeri's is a pie I love. The size and flavor are great for adults, and kids are happy with dinner as well. Like to get the cheese/breadsticks and have them cut in half for a few more servings as well as twice the toasted ends. Benny is always great and very appreciative to earn your business.

The bread sticks with homemade sauce were sensational....then when our sampler pizza came wow it just hits you with fresh hot flavors on a perfect, not to thin not to thick crust. BAM Tis place might be a drive for us but it is always worth it!!!!

This is our favorite pizza place in the world, literally. I just LOVE this place, great wait staff and although the pizza is outstanding, don't skip the sub sandwiches, the are fantastic. I particularly like the hot Italian, try it with Italian dressing instead of the side of marinara. Reasonably priced, there are several locations, but seems like the Highlands location is better for some reason.

This is our favorite pizza place in town. LOVE it. Great food and some interesting people watching at night.

Every time I'm home in Louisville, I stop by Impellizzeri's. The pizza is my favorite, and it is always the same...delicious. There are always games on, and the staff are friendly. The breadsticks are pretty great too.

Prices seemed high when I ordered, but it was worth it. Top tier pizza.

Always awesome. Get the breadsticks. And a 14 inch pizza will fill up 4 people. Chopped salad is a definite when we go.

We love your pizza but incredibly disappointed when we were there last night and no one was wearing mask. If they were wearing a mask is was pulled down.
Get it together people or you ll lose our business.

Service today was awful and the pizza was bland compared to normal. I have had many pizzas here but today was so bad, I am tempted to take Impellizzaris' of my recomended list. The store in etown is also of lower quality than I am acustomed to recieving from the chain when Benny is there. Sad, just plain sad.

Great Pizza with tasty sauce. Love all the cheese. Fresh ample ingredients. Garlic breadsticks are one of a kind. Same as the original location. Kind of pricey compared to chains, but quality of ingredients makes the cost acceptable.

A Louisville Kentucky staple. If you're in from out of town the menu is great across the board Not Just Pizza. Stuffed mushrooms are a favorite of ours. And if you like breadsticks well you got to try them.

Just simply the best pizza in Louisville since I can remember.

For the price you pay you get alot of food and the food is excellent

Impellizeri's is hard to beat. My mother took my son, nephew, and I there for my son's birthday. I'm vegan, and the waitress was very kind and understanding, and made sure the bread sticks were served with the butter on the side. My (cheeseless) veggie pizza was the tastiest pizza ever; their sauce is sheer perfection! We all had a great time, and highly enjoyed our food. I also enjoyed a Blue Moon Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Impellizeri's!

This Impellizzeri's location is going down hill.
I think the only thing which is keeping this business open is their location.
The service and the quality of their food is becoming very poor.

Do not think we will ever visit this location ever again after we use to make it a must to take people from out of town to this location and brag about how great it was...WAS.

If there's a cheat meal in your diet, gotta do one at Impellizzeri's. Totally worth it!

Gluten free pizza option is pretty good. They also have great GF meatballs as well (grass fed meatballs)

First time in Louisville and hit the jackpot with this great restaurant, great for the family, great service and the greatest pizza .

Outstanding pizza here. First time I have been in this location for pizza in years. They have since remodeled the place. Thankfully they have also added online ordering for convenience. They still don't deliver, but I live close so no big deal for me. I found that a 10" three topping pizza with garlic butter the value is OUTSTANDING for $16 (compare to Wicks, a 10" one topping with no extras is $16). Pizza was thick and delicious. Enough for two meals. Will definitely visit more often in the future.

Have been coming here for a long time. My wife and I came here when we dated back in the 80's. It is as welcoming and good now as it was then. We've lived in tn for past 13 years, but when we get back to the Ville, this is a must visit.

There are so many other options available for pizza in Louisville. Based on our visit I do not put this restaurant high on that list. Service was friendly but the pizza was dry and the spaghetti and meatballs our companion ordered we're not anything to write home about.
