Great selection of cocktails, especially when 2 for 1

As a team we often have meetings out of the office and we normally find our selves here. The staff and venue are great and the atmosphere is always just right. The new refurb is looking great too.

If your not a student and dont like immature idiots avoid

Great room and space, special credit to Kevin in the upstairs bar who gave fantasic information on the different rums that he had on offer and was a real showman when he was making his own "chairman of the board" cocktail which was both delicious and impressive when being made.
10/10 for Kevin!

Always something different happening here. Plus they low flames for one of the drinks. =O

Always a great choice to meet for food during the day or drinks during the night; nice venue, enthusiastic staff, recommend to anyone. They do a whole range of other activities that I haven't tried myself (gaming competitions for one), but should tick a few varied boxes for people!

Great if you book a room but you pay a premium for drinks

One member of the bar staff was helpful and proficient however in general bar staff where unable to make the cocktails their elaborate menu offered.

Quality of service is dependent on finding the one member of staff who is friendly and caters to the customer. Found some staff very rude and considering the overall service and prices wouldn't recommend as a place to go for a drink in Southampton.

Browns Town food is amazing. Venue is hipsterville.

Booked and paid for a private booth, only to find that the door staff wouldnt let us in! Given we are all in our 30's, respectful and smart, they treated us poorly and where very rude. the bar's loss as would have spent a fortune!

Fantastic vibe, amazing music, cocktails are next to none in taste and appearance m, definitely the best in Southampton! I would recommend to absolutely everyone

Lovely place, great food and unbelievable atmosphere when they show the wrestling there on occasion.

This place is literally the best place in soton to have a drink dance and enjoy yourself

The orange rooms provide a friendly and relaxing environment in which you can enjoy a drink or a meal or both.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and the service for drinks and food is first class.

Great food, really nice to be able to enjoy ourselves within excellent guidance of current covid rules. However this was sadly spoilt due to the entertainment . At first I thought maybe it was karaoke and another customer was trying to sing. But it came to my surprise that the singer for want of better words was actually a member of staff! Now at this point at this point we decided to cut our visit short! Covid or not, I may miss socialising and nights out BUT I d rather isolate then ever have to be subjected to that entertainment/torture again!
If suggest a rethink on who you allow to perform in future, given the current climate I wouldn t think you d want to be scaring away customers right now!

Coming from someone who loves cocktails, this venue holds my vote for the best cocktails in Southampton which i've found so far. The drinks are fantastic. The service is usually quite fast. The venue is fair sized, not as big as some other places. The playlist is also fantastic, it's different from the norm with hip-hop and old school bangers. It's always a fun night at Orange Rooms.

AVOID! Bouncers are horrible and don t treat you like a human

I really used to love this place but they should do something about the bouncers ''standards''. Sadly, last weekend when I wanted to enter one of my friends couldn't get in due to ''being too drunk''. We all definitely were equally tipsy, but her outfit was much less revealing than the others and more casual. How come you can only enter if you're wearing a skimpy dress? She was doing her shoelaces on her own while they let in other woman that was barely walking from how drunk she was(but hey she at least had a dress and high heels not jeans and flats like my friend). I find it unfair and even thought the place itself is great this kind of discrimination shouldn't be tolerated. It won't really stop me from coming back since the parties there are fun, but i don't think its acceptable to treat women this way.

Mental burger eating challenge. Much harder than it looks. Cheap and plentiful food.

Never go to this venue. If the bar staff do not like you they will lie and claim you have harassed them and then get the bouncers to remove you. The bouncers will not ask you to leave they will simply assault your person and eject you. They may even choose to choke you and steal your belongings if presented the opportunity. This is not an over exaggeration as i saw it happen with my own eyes. Upon being assaulted and thrown out a member of the public tried to film the assault after being held in a chokehold and the bouncer attempted to steal the phone from their hand.

This is all unlawful and they have no right to treat a human being like this. I would encourage no one to go here and spread the word. Many clubs operate in similar ways and even the police supported this individual even though they did not file a report or press charges.

Disgusting behaviour from a second rate club.

The best they deserve is to be boycotted until the management is replaced.

The staff use their power to remove men at will, I was a designated driver for my group and got removed for "being too drunk". The fact that the staff promote entry of drunk women over sober males is appalling, I would not recommend orange rooms as you may be removed for any reason. The customer service of this establishment is awful, I will not be returning here under any circumstances as was treated horribly when sober, after I had paid for a ticket.

Rather slow service, but a great atmosphere and staff are very lovely it makes up for it.

Fantastic place! Such awesome design, friendly staff and amazing to visit in the day and night. Always visit here when I'm Southampton. Highly recommended!

Always find it a little bit over priced for drinks here

We traveled from Reading for the famous eating challenges that they were serving. The food staff & venue was fantastic. The Burger challenge was accepted and beaten, including the fries and sweet potato fries, in fact I've got the "I Beat the Meat" T shirt to prove it. We even had the Chocolate Brownie & Ice cream to follow. I was hoping to return to take on the Dog basket. Unfortunately the venue has ceased the challenges and no longer serve food on a daily basis. I had a great reply to my email, thank you Jess. Hot or cold buffets are available upon request. I'm hoping that enough people will ask for the challenges so they are reinstated.

WORST PLACE TO GO!!
Security guards only admit friends of them. It ashames them a lot. Every other place is better than this. Be Warned! Avoid the guard at the front!!!!!!!

Waiters were really nice and friendly but it took a long time to get cocktails and when we did they weren t great at all. Asked for mine to be replaced as it tasted of salt and they wouldn t let me pick another

So many super-hot women. Takes ages to get served though due to massive cocktail orders though!

Not been clubbing in a few years , but I loved the decor of this place. All the quirky starwars themes and every wall was decorated. Good level of security and bat staff.

It was much better when they served food! Now, the kitchen is unfortunately closed.

What happened? Used to come here a lot. Been a year or two and now they're playing Britney and Justin.. gone downhill

Looks nice, but after 2 beers we went outside for a sigerette and didn't get inside because the guard told us we where to drunk. Actually he was really corrupt because he only granted acces to the people he knew and he really enjoyed using his power as a local hard. TiP: AVOID THIS PLACE

There s a good range of drinks and the staff are nice but there were 4 guys who refused to leave me and my friends alone, one of them spiked my friend s drink, and only 2 of them got kicked out. It was a decent night out until about 12am where it kicked up and it suddenly started feeling unsafe.

Great place especially on a Tuesday evening as its cheap and busy. Food is also lush for the price of it compared to other places in southampton I would definitely recommend the nachos

Apparently great for students but we were welcomed, age 50 plus, and had a great time.

Good for a cocktail sesh with your mates. Check the deals they have on the day you go as it changes quite alot.

Good cocktail selection, great atmosphere, decent music, variety of different rooms to suit your mood. Well worth a visit.

My favourite club / bar in the whole of Southampton. Always excellent music, happy vibes and cool people. Friendly place. Never any drama or fights (that I've ever witnessed). Lovely layout and decor. Always something on each night. Affordable drinks. Lovely bathrooms! Cool staff too, that always helps.
