Place is a joke... seems they would rather have patients suffer and pay more money to visit the emergency room than treat them here.. FYI chest pains and shortness of breathe can stem from alot of issues. Go here if you wanna see the rejects of your local doctoral community..
I've been suffering with high blood pressure, fast heart rate, and now high blood sugar. I also suffer from other conditions. First two weeks I under went an event monitor for my heart. It's been nearly a month and still I can't obtain the results and no one reaches out to even tell me what they are. Nor for lab work either. Many if my conditions are ignored and disregarded without even being reviewed by the doctor. I have family in the medical profession. So I'm more knowledgeable a out things than the average person. I know it's very unprofessional not to contact the patient with the results of any test, labs, or anything done to make a diagnosis. This is borderline malpractice infact.
They are aware that I suffer from multiple conditions that was neglected and ignored by medical staff at the prison I was incarcerated at. These people look, treat, and act a certain way tword me because if this. You can tell the difference when someone is actually concerned about your health and wellness, and your overall wellness. I don't get that with them. I know that conditions I suffer with and the severity of the symptoms I experience daily normal doctors would've ordered a full scale battery of labs checking for all possibilities. Not this place. Doctors would also order brain, spine, arterial scans, and several other tests. Just to eliminate blockage in arteries of the arms, neck, legs, or other places other than the heart.They have limited it to not even the full basic labs or other tests. Being the fact it is common knowledge that the prison health care system is extremely corrupt and incompetent to the point that doctors and medical staff are changed out more than your underwear. Most doctors would do a full complete evaluation and order these tests and much more with the fact their patient was in prison and everyone knows prison medical care is way below competent levels and no where near effective. One doctor they had was a veterinarian who had no prior experience as a human doctor. Another was a women's ginaclogist having no real training or experience in anything else. This is the prison medical care system. Once open door staff learned I had been in prison I felt as if I hadn't even left the prison. Ithe doctor never ordered any such battery of tests, didn't perform a full detailed examination to evaluate my full physical condition. He didn't do a skun check, spine check, circulation check, prostate check, and many other evaluation that I haven't had in over 10 years.
I reported that the blood pressure numbers in my right and left arm were 10 or more points apart. This has been very consistent a d some times it's only a few points different. This means that there is likely a blockage in an artery some where or even several places. Then my heart rate has been higher than usual and I'm already on a beta blocker for high blood pressure and high heart rate. I told him I need something to reduce the heart rate more when needed because it isn't always high. So I needed something I can take when it us high and my blood pressure is normal. Because I don't want something that will reduce the blood pressure lower if it's already normal. That would be dangerous, but us dangerous a d bad to allow the heart rate to be so high and untreated. It will lead to heart attacks or more.
It is possible to complete such things a d the best way to do this would be order admitting to the hospital for a few days to allow all these things done because the hospital has everything there to complete such scans, tests, and evaluations.
I have also been suffering with intestinal problems where I go more than most people. My stool is soft, sometimes runny, sometimes looks as if it has a mucus like substance on it, or just letting out such mucus. Sometimes I let out some sort of liquid that is sometimes yellowish, sometimes clear. Sometimes I let stuff that looks like intestinal lining with bits if blood mixed with it. Yet no tests or evaluations have been done to find out what this is, or causing it. Plus many other serious issues being ignored.
I love my family Dr Brown, he's the best one I have had in years. He takes time too do what's needed and he cares about his patients well being no matter how long it takes. I also want to thank Dr Shepler for his service. Thank you for working with me too get me in a good place.
I love Open Door Health Services. I have been a patient of medical services since November 2018. i like my NP (Christina Daniels) that I have. I do wish she would spend more time with me during my visits. She is nice and friendly and courteous towards me.
I had dental surgery today and the care I received was wonderful. Dr. Clark and her assistant listened to my concerns and helped put me at ease while compassionately and thoroughly explaining the process. I lost my job due to Covid-19 and I'm so thankful I found Open Door. Highly recommend!
They are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable! I've had a great experience since I started going to Open Door two years ago, I could go else where! But have a high measure of comfortability that they know what the are doing! Both Dr. Grant and NP Daniel Shepler!
It was such a refreshing experience to have staff members genuinely care about my health and overall well being. Within 24 hours of becoming a new patient, I was seen by a physician and was listened to. My medication was refilled and extra resources were given on how I can move forward with their services. They charge based on income, so even after suffering unemployment from the pandemic, I was able to get treated. Cannot recommend enough!
Popped in today for an appointment to get birth control. Everyone there was absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful, well informed. I definitely recommend the for all your family planning needs:)
