We were admitted Wednesday night for a pregnancy induction. I was extremely nervous and uneasy about the whole thing. Dr Bernstein and her labor and delivery team, Julie, Carissa, Cydnee, Janice and Dr Cemer were SO amazing. They literally made one of the toughest situations one of the most personable and enjoyable experiences Ive ever had. From the care team to the cleanliness and friendliness of the entire facility, thank you all SO much! Keep up the great work! You can certainly tell they all truly enjoy their careers and are all amazing at it!

I had ER surgery Dr.Ruddy did it a very happy professional knew what was needed didn t waste time. I had an illious happen after surgery. (I was released prior to this). 2 days later I m back. I was taken right in given care and treatment. I want to say the whole staff on the fourth floor work as a well oiled machine. Marie Stephanie Stacey Maureen Carl Jessica are just the tip of a great crew. Thank you for all you do and did for me. God bless each of you on this floor.

Oneida hospital is a mess. My wife had to deliver here and after the matter we were wishing we went somewhere else. My wife was given an emergency c section that, according to the doctors who were called in, should ve been started 3 hours prior to when they actually called everybody in. They waited until my sons heart rate dropped to 100 bpm less than normal, he almost died because of the nurses neglect.

If you needed something, it wasn t a surprise when the nurses would say they d get it for you and then an hour would go by and they missed giving my wife her pain meds and make up some excuse why they forgot about it.

Our son came on the weekend so of course their cafeteria was closed, I was left to order Doordash/Grubhub the whole time for me to eat, ending up spending way too much money. Do they think people just don t use the hospital on weekends?

We had a couple nurses that were awesome with us, and very considerate. We really appreciated those few nurses because they really just slightly reminded us that some people there really care. While the other nurses kept referring to my wife s c section as a problem, and not a successful birth plan . Not successful because the nurses risked my sons life by putting off a c section until he s on the brink of dying.

The couches/beds are old as ages, like they got them for free off Facebook marketplace and plopped them in the hospital rooms. I was sleeping on an old pull out mattress that was hard springs. Because of this I was not getting the proper rest needed when I could so that I could take care of my wife and my son.

Finally, the nurses constantly acted like I was some deadbeat father that didn t give a hoot about his family, as they watch me help my wife up to walk around while holding our son. Changing his every diaper so my wife can recover, and doing everything my wife needed me to do for her. To the point where I walked out to get our car seat and offered the name of our pediatrician to the nurse who asked for it, just for her to say oh it s okay I ll just get it from mom .

One good takeaway was as we left, one of our favorite doctors came in to see us one last time as the nurses were in our room too and saw me just being a dad and changing my son and said what a good dad. You don t find too many like that and all the nurses agreed, while I said well you re the first person in this hospital to say that to me!

All in all, doctors aren t so bad here, but the nurses acted like they knew more than the doctors. I can t say that about the nurses we loved however. They were the shining light in a scary time.

Dr. Albert Delpino saved my Mom's life recently with emergency surgery, 5 years ago he saved my Husband's life with emergency surgery. Recently my Mom had great care post surgery on the 4th floor with Stacy and Allison and the entire staff. They answered all our questions, were patient, and always came when my mom needed them. I was in so much pain from back strain. This was the only place taking patients after calling a few places. New York State is still horrible with a Health system that sucks. I left without getting treatment with long wait and ridiculous testing for an emergency place. However, I mentally felt better after leaving. Everyone was very professional, but my pain made me into a vicious person. Thanks to my husband calming me down. I would regret lashing out at people just professionally doing their job.

I have experienced kindness, professionalism, and effectiveness each time we ve had a routine test or difficult procedure. Everyone seems so caring here! We are fortunate to have them in our community.
