I was a client of theirs for 8 years. This year a lot of weeds, and after they inspected, they said they were not going to service my yard. They have been responsible for my yard for the past 8 years, SO WHY ?No reasons. They promised me a visit to discuss but NOTHING. No visit, no return call.
Very disappointed. The technicians lack experience, at least they do in the Penfield area...
One step tree & lawncare is now trugreen. When you call know from north chili you talk to someone in long island. We canceled when they became true green and they still came out and did application that cost us $150.00. We paid it and 3 weeks later we were billed for it again. Customer service over the phone was terrible.
My lawn looks beautiful. Thorough information is provided regarding products used. Service is reliable, phone contact pleasant!
Exceptionally poor communication within this company among techs and with customers. Was told today that they are currently "lacking experienced technicians on the east side of Rochester" and can "no longer provide help with my lawn". I've been an "easy" on-time paying customer over 10 years. Was working with an excellent tech (who is not longer with them as of 3 weeks ago) to get my lawn back in shape after the hot dry summer last year. A week after an over-seeding in April, receptionist called to tell me they were coming to apply crabgrass prevention treatment. I am no lawn expert, but I said that didn't sound right as fresh seed had just been applied but she said "oh it's ok" So, chemical was applied (which I paid for!) and any germination was prevented. In short, I do not recommend this company as they explained they are not able to provide quality service on the east side of Rochester (per managers Rhonda and George)
They are the best service , nice service people who do a wonderful job. The products that they use work wonderfully and no call backs
I have used One Step Tree and Lawncare for several years. My lawn looks like a carpet! I have pets and I love that natural options exist that allow me a beautiful lawn without adding chemicals to my yard. They ALWAYS call in advance and are very quick to accommodate for parties that you may have planned. We value our summertime "extra room" and use it to the max, thanks to One Step, it always looks great!!!

The lawn is looking great after two treatments. I started late into the year but it's definitely worth starting now than never.
One Step calls ahead of time to let you know when they're coming and they leave a note after each visit with details on what they did. The price does't break the bank, which is a plus. I'll definitely upload pictures of the lawn in 2020.
They also have a great website to manage my account (pay bills, download invoices, check the treatment schedule, etc.). Very happy so far. Great customer service!
Our lawn looks great. It's very green and healthy and is the pride of our neighborhood. I truly believe our neighbors are jealous .
