Beautiful gold course right off the freeway open early great food

Absolutely great golf course. Played it as our last stop on the "west coast swing". Easily my favorite (from a golf perspective). Enjoyed the beauty of the Pebble Beach courses, but thought golf was better at Olympic!!

Well, this is an easy one . . . A super golf course that is well maintained and very helpful and friendly staff! It is really a fu and challenging course . . . . Prefer Ocean to Lake but Lake is warmer!

Was here as a guest. The views, food, and service was excellent.

Very sorry to say this, but I got very ill from some fish that was served two days ago at The Grill. It was offered as the special of the day so I thought it would be fresh. It was not. Not cooked properly and raw on the inside. I should ve sent it back but I decided not to since I was with a dear old friend. Anyway, I was sick all day and through the night. I don t think I need to give the details about that. Otherwise I have always enjoyed The Olympic Club.

Even more elegant all decked out for Christmas! The service was attentive, without being stuffy. The food was excellent.

Great course, ocean is up there with lake. Each course is incredible to play. If you golf, you have to play here at least a couple times.

Greatest player's course around the bay area, superb practice facilities, and great food inside. If I could play there everyday I would.

Too many wonderful things to say about, The Olympic Club in San Francisco. This is where we have our family Christmas Dinners and my husband and I had our Wedding Reception here as well. Family members of The Olympic Club at Lakeside. Beautiful, spectacular and charming!!!

Historic Golf club that is private so you need to be invited if you re not a member. The greens are quite fabulous but the bunkers (lake course) are pretty insane.

Had a wonderful experience for luncheon. The service was great, the good tasty, the the set up wad done really well. Thank you Sandra, Sara, and staff.

Great course, if you can get in! Sunny and warm on the front nine - fog rolls in - windy and cold on the back nine.

I live in Daly City and have had a chance at playing here. It's beautiful when the weather permits. But the course is indeed monotonous like a previous reviewer wrote. I usually play at the Presidio and a handful of times at harding.

Hot Dog Bills is pretty awesome too. Service is awesome.

I'm not sure if it's the turf that's affecting the people or if the 9 holes is too exhausting for them, but golfers here do not understand how to drive a vehicle. Patrons entering the club supposedly never used a turn indicator before. Patrons exiting on the other hand don't understand what a stop sign is. Cars are coming down skyline at 50 to 60 mph and the patrons think it's a good idea to not yield to on coming traffic.

All in all, it's a great place to get a bit of practice in, but some patrons need their driver's license revoked.

Love this place to play golf. I suck so 9 hole is my favorite. Awesome views of the water. Burger dogs are a must.

I've only come for Sunday Buffet. It's great. The kids, however, are not. A lot of them just use their hands to grab things. Come on parents, teach them to use the serving utensils or HELP THEM...

Attended a wedding reception at the Olympic club. Such a special place for the bride and groom.

This illustrious private golf club (open to members and their guests only) is home to the world renowned Lake and Ocean courses, as well as the 9-hole par-3 Cliffs course. The Lake course, one of the most famous layouts on the US Open Championship roster, is laid out on the lake side of a sandy ridge, which lies between the Pacific Ocean and Lake Merced.

If you get invited to a party here, go! Old school San Francisco with terrific food and service.

The dinner buffet here was pretty good.

I loved the duck buns with plum sauce. The prime rib was pretty good too!

However, the crab legs were over salted... and dessert didn't look very appetizing but they tasted ok.

@$75 per person I think its a little pricey but overall the food was pretty good.

Always a great spot for a wedding reception. Members only.
At the edge of the Olympic Club Golf Course, the Clubhouse has a relaxing full bar, a well appointed dining room, and a dance floor.
The food is always good and served by cheerful and accommodating waitstaff.
My only criticism would be that the dancing area, while adequate in size, needed a few more tables, or at least more chairs on the perimeter.

Really fun golf course, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!

Annual feast. Caesar salad, raviolis, crab and if you can... dessert. Super yummy.

Ah, yes, a golf course. Looking past the absurd water consumption, the logistics and environmental impact of construction a golf course on what was a sand dune, and the air of prestige specifically enveloping The Olympic Club, it s super nice!

An oasis in the city. The club is beautifully maintained. The tennis courts are in great shape.

Both famous and wonderful private club - generations of San Franciscans have been members. In the 80's - the Old Boys Club - had one (1) female waiter - Brigid C.- she was sterling! She was very Well loved/respected by all and she put up /dealt wisely with shenanigans...
Then, The Wives began a campaign to get more female servers. Done.

Amazing views of the city unlike any other I've seen before. Great service totally lived up to what you would expect from a private country club.

My daughter got married there today and everything, and everyone, was as beyond our expectations.

Fun. Fair golf course. Definitely target golf. Know your range.

What needs to be said? It's the O club for God's sake..

Beautifully kept grounds. I would not have been able to play there except for a charity event. It is very u exclusive.

Honestly when it comes to dream golf courses this is about some of the best that you're going to see so definitely go here

Was here for a private event; great venue and great views, but my experience with the staff was less than positive.
