It's great stuff, good quality and nice employees. But the prices are SO marked up. I mean double what you'd pay at marianos.
Great food. Really great food. But incredibly expensive.
The sticker shock never wears off, but it is what it is, nice flower selection
A very well-stocked grocery store with all you need. Friendly and helpful staff, good mix of organic and normal groceries, good deli and cold cuts section. Pretty reasonably priced for a small store, and super convenient if you live locally. I ve been back a few times during my stay and always been very happy.
I bought stuff and the lady at the counter Mari did not give me a receipt. She also bagged another guy's stuff who was away from the counter that I did not want, so now I can't return the items. Ridiculous.
Nice, convenient market when you're in a pinch but you'll pay premiums for the specialty product offerings
Olivia's was our second home when living in bucktown. The staff were outsanding, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great place to go for those last minute food items, or a quick lunch. They also sell several products from vendors at the Green City Market in Lincoln Park.
Yes, they have some specialty items. But some of their organic food/ groceries is way more expensive than organic food at a normal grocery store. You can get most of the same stuff at a Marianno's and pay less. Or even order it off instacart to your door...
I love shopping at Olivia s when I need something fancy or fresh, high-quality produce. It s certainly expensive, but they have a nice variety of merchandise in a cute, convenient location.
Olivia's is a great place to grab real food for lunch and pick up a few other amenities while you're there. Their selection of spirits and coffee are tough to top for a neighborhood grocery. The floral shop in the front means you're welcomed by the smell of fresh flowers when you walk in. Friendly staff and amazing, different soups every day at the deli counter.
Good deli, good selection of quality grocery items including craft beers. Some items are a little overpriced but for the most part they're competitive. I prefer to shop local and support small business though.
They are very rude they all do not appreciate your money they will hassle you out of your pockets the products aren't even worth it
It's very well stocked. One can only imagine what the rent must be, if they have to charge so much for salt.
Great spot. Quality stuff but high prices as expected for a small & high-end grocer
Great little shop but prices are ridiculously expensive. $10 for marinara sauce, $5.50 for a box of cereal. Really?
Honestly, I wish all corner stores were set at the standard of Olivia Market. They have great local and organic products, fresh produce and flowers, and super friendly staff. The store has been around for many years but still looks brand new.
Good small grocer with a surprisingly good and large selection, especially of health foods. Definitely worth supporting.
The best assemblage of goods in a neighborhood "corner store" you'll ever find including the best selection of cut flowers pretty much anywhere in the city - not a large selection but not run of the mill stuff
This place is really good if you're on the way home and need a few items. Their products' quality is fantastic, and for the quality, it's pretty inexpensive in comparison to other stores. My only complaint is that it's very small. For example, they don't have a full meat counter, which is desired in a market. They do have a nice selection of fruits and vegetables though, and a good amount of cheese variety for the size. I would recommend stopping in Olivia's, even if it's just to check it out.
Really great place if you need some quality products in a pinch. I wouldn't make it my weekly shop as it's pretty expensive even for the quality items they carry. Friendly staff and a solid selection of produce given the small size.
Our local grocery store we shop at at least once per week. Great deli and even better cheese selection cut in appropriate (i.e. smaller) size pieces. Good wine & booze choices as well as off the run sodas. All the kinds of food you want or need to cook at home without using the microwave. Excellent cut stem flowers keep the store smelling great and the penny candy bins below the checkout registers are a sweet touch.
Fast and friendly service! Love all the variety too!
The quality is good but this place is incredible expensive. The almonds croissants are terrific.
great market with a great selection of wine and cheese
Has a little bit of everything! Great place to find a quick snack and a drink
You can find our pasture raised pork and wild caught Great Lakes fish among many other local and seasonal items. @jakescountrymeats #havemeatwilltravel
For a neighborhood grocery store, they do a great job and provide great service. Highlights for me are the well stocked produce and butcher department staff.
I stayed in the area for a week and I made it a point to stop in here once a day. This is everything you want from a neighborhood health food store. Great prices great selection and great customer service.
Olivia s Market is so beautiful and the selection is high quality. Prepare for a hefty price, but that s the cost of cute, small, specialty markets. They carry specialty meats and cheeses in their mini deli in the back, and I always come for some bread. There s also pints of Jenny s in the back for the locally minded sweet tooth. It s rare that I leave without flowers because whoever runs them is a genius. They have such beautiful flowers and are happy to arrange a little something for you that makes you feel special. I love Olivia s.
Horrible customer service, manager was rude and unprofessional, asked for a receipt and manager wouldn't take the time to pull it up and give me a copy. Would not recommend shopping there with him on duty
Terribly overpriced! Unfriendly cashier! Parking is a challenge and close to non existent!
A favorite neighborhood spot. So much selection for such a tiny market, all high quality and fresh. Helpful staff, too.
Great little corner grocery store. Very small and a little expensive but lots of good specialty items. I love their coffee in the morning every day! Also love to support independent business. All in all a fantastic little place!
I like it because that's my name and it's cool seeing my name on a heathy but organic food fruit and vegetable store
A cute little pop in pop out shop. It's on the pricier end because of the area and the high quality of the products. The food is mostly health food, but there are fun snacks and a nice cheese selection. No public restroom.
My favorite local mart! Great selection of gourmet and organic foods, plus local favorites thrown in. I probably wander over 1-2x per week for a snack or beverage. Oh, and apparently a great floral spot, too I always see someone buying fresh flowers and the shop does a great job wrapping them up to look nice. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this local business.
Little pricey, selection is small. But good produce, some international foods as well. Nice little neighborhood grocer.
The only thing I wish would improve about this store is that when you use a card or NFC (Google or Apple Pay) you then have to use a stylus to select the payment method on the POS checkout screen when there is not public sanitizer available to use afterwards.
They got the good Australian red licorice!!! I've been searching for it for years. Fantastic!!!
Very well curated selection of produce, deli meats, and snacks
Great deluxe cornerstore grocery and beautiful flowers, but the veggies' selection is limited and sometimes not fresh enough. Super friendly service.
I love this little store and the staff is amazing! It's always clean and stocked with quality products. They work with local vendors which is a plus I think. Everyone must try their Senegalese Chicken and Peanut Butter soup. Not exaggerating when I say its the best soup I've had.
Good selection, especially fruits and veggies year round. Decent prices. Nice people.
Very nice selection of high quality food, staff is friendly, prices are higher than a typical grocery but in line with other smaller urban markets.
I LOVE OLIVIA S MARKET! I am not in the area often, however, when I am ... I stock up on my Gluten Free Homers ( Chicago based company) ice cream ... best ever of all time! And Gluten free Soups! Simply Amazing ;-)
Great service, I love picking out my own bouquet from their fresh cut flowers [and veggies]. The cashier will help you wrap everything up as well. Add a bottle of wine for extra points.
AWESOME! great local market. great wine selection, good health food, wide selection of products sold here. they are clearly not as vast as a supermarket, but they are definitely a great local corner market/store. they were offering samples while i was shopping and the staff was friendly and helpful. would definitely reccomend shopping local at tthis market.
Serviceable neighborhood market with high end and specialty options. Pricey but usually worth it for convenience.
Absolute gem. Never need (nor want) to shop at a large grocery store when I can walk here
Checkout is always fast and the deals are always fantastic. Very clean store and perfect customer service.
Great neighborhood specialty store with high end products
There's a great selection of specialty items such as creme fraiche, but the customer service at check out is severely lacking.
A neat market that has more unique, locally sourced, organic goodies. Beer selection was slim when I visited. A little pricey for my tastes though the organic foods were quite fresh. The fair trade chocolate was good. A nice place to get a quick bite while meandering through the neighborhood.
Local little grocery. Great selection of food
Flowers etc.
Cute little grocery store. Got a little bit of everything. Great quality. Good staff.
Always a pleasure shopping at Olivia's. I got some prosciutto and salami from the deli counter in back, and some fresh dolmas. Great little market.
Solid selection, Very well organized and polite staff.
Fantastic local market with fresh produce, nice selection of cold cuts, fresh housemade cheeses, and anything you might need to cook dinner. Love dropping by after work since it is so close to where I live.
Really great selection, top-quality stuff, healthy selection of organic produce (seems to be more all the time), top-shelf coffee beans (Stumptown, Sightglass, Bowtruss, etc), the best kept secret for great soup (in the back), friendly staff, family owned, and flexible hours (open until 10pm), Oliva's is where I do 90% of my shopping now. It's not the cheapest place in town, but you can't beat the selection, convenience, and top-shelf selection in a neighborhood market.
This place is amazing!!! They have amazing food+great people there. If your on the run and need a snack go to Olivia's Market!!!
Convenience you pay for. Good if you want to jet in and out and don't want to go to 7-11. Much higher quality than convenience stores. Pricey
Pricey but convenience for the neighborhood. Good quality of products.
