I really don't see where the gospel mission does so much for the homeless or the community. All they do is at 4:30, they feed them, read a couple of bible versus and then kick them back out on the streets. They don't allow them to shower, wash their clothes or sleep. So how exactly are they truly helping?

Oliver Gospel Mission is great, they've been doing such a great service for such a long time. They go way beyond what is asked and they are some of the nicest people I've met. They are doing some great things and deserve to be recognized for their hard work. Keep it up! The world would be a terrible place without people like these.

I've been to visit my son there on 3 different occasions in the last 6 months. This Christian facility is made-up of a wonderful & caring staff & residents. We are always welcomed with big smiles, handshakes, & hugs!

Place needs to be shut down. The say they a Christian based organization but they're not. It's all about the money for them. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE TO THIS PLACE

Place to lay your head .get a shower if you say wrong things you will be kicked out or lose your bed sad if you think about it most of staff is great but some try to control you can't voice your feelings or take up for your self without being kicked out

The environment here is full of love, brotherhood, support, and fellowship.

It's a great place to go when things fall apart. It's like a home away from home and the staff is great

No first hand experience there, but there's only two homeless shelters in Columbia so if your in need I would recommend checking them out

I went there to get a bed for the recovery program. When I got there they didn't have a bed.

Never stayed there. I'm a women. But if you ever stay at a shelter take a count of everything before it leaves security. They've stolen my work boots.
