This is an extremely cute and quaint Community Theater. Small enough to feel like Community Theater but big enough to hold a decent-sized event. It feels modern, clean, and was a great spot for our first experience at our daughter's dance recital. There is so much to do around the theater that you can make an entire day out of any event. I look forward to seeing holiday Productions, more of my children's recital, and so on.

Small venue, we had balcony seating this last visit and due to being hearing impaired weren't able to hear much of anything - a small tragedy since it was likely the last time we were able to see this particular performer. That's not the theater's fault, of course. My husband DID find that the sound was better in the corner but the area was being blocked off so we couldn't change seats.

Other than that, the folks checking tickets etc are very cordial and efficient.

Such a great show tonight. Loved the music - they did a fantastic job recreating Jimi, Janis & Joe and many others. And to think that just a "few" years ago I was driving my sitting on a tapestry bedspread listening to that same music...the room was a lot smokier as I recall! Thanks for the memories!

Tucked in behind the bustling main streets of Old Town Temecula. You walk down a shaded walkway from the streetside intill it opens up into a spread out little promenade in all of it's charm. The ticket booths are easy to find and the people working them generous with smiles and laughs. The main theater is small but with a feeling of hearth and home. The shows I've seen there were absolutely fantastic and made you really feel the performences. There is also a quaint little snack and beverage hut located out side to get drinks (alcohol and otherwise) and also food at intermissions. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to see a good play.

One of the best birthdays I've EVER had! They had a show of my favorite Disney movie ever, Beauty and The Beast! The theater was clean, tickets affordable (there were 5 of us) and the seats were incredible! Oh, did I mention they sell wine outside? Last but not least, the show was amazing. The cast did absolutely wonderful! Will be back again.

We just saw Young Frankenstein last night and it was fantastic! The cast is so great and funny! Igor absolutely killed it! This theater doesn't have a bad seat and the ticket prices are very reasonable. Thursdays are only $12.

Went tonight for the first time and saw "A Few Good Men". I was pleasantly surprised by the venue and show. I would def return!

Venue: Clean & neat. Ushers are very pleasant and the snack bar is decently priced. We sat in row BB seats 10-12, but any seat would be good.

Show: Quality of the production surpassed my expectations! Actors were all great, especially Jon Wesley who played Jessep and Aaron Niotta who played Kaffee- great job guys!

Consession stand is outrageously priced but supporting the local theater is important. Enjoyed watching a play that some family friends were in. My wife left her purse in the theater and the staff was very helpful in retrieving even after locking up for the night.

The Theater and Old Town Temecula area are beautiful! Also, not a bad seat in the entire theater, hence the 4 star rating! However, went to see M*A*S*H performance today ...hummmm...perhaps my expectations were high. The script was weak, especially the 1st half. Definitely not the comedy it was billed to be. I felt like I was watching beginning rehearsals rather than the last day of the show. Savong grace for the 2 rather than 1 star were the fact that the set was very well done and the staging for the final bows was wonderfully artful! Not sure I will give the theater another try, as I drove up from San Diego and the performance was at generous 2 stars.

Today I attended what would have been an amazing quintet concert - the performers were spot on and the musical selection was stimulating, but the staff and random people not associated with the concert (not audience members or staff, seemingly people walking in from the street) RUINED the concert for me. I know I'm not alone in this, as I brought my boyfriend who has no musical background whatsoever, and even he commented on being unable to focus on the music because of all the interruptions from the aforementioned people.

While the performers were speaking about their piece the ushers would remain standing and quiet, but as soon as the quintet started playing the piece the ushers would walk off or begin speaking to each other, as if we hadn't paid to listen to the performance, only the instrumentalists thoughts on the selection they were about to perform. And I know "walking off" seems innocent enough, but the floors are wooden and the female usher seemed to be wearing heels made out of lead, for what other material could explain the earth shattering noise each step produced.

The ushers weren't the only loud staff, as the woman responsible for selling tickets was TALKING ON THE PHONE during the performance for SEVERAL minutes, no biggie except that she was sitting about 10 feet away from the audience in an unenclosed room. She also spoke at length to the two random people who showed up during the performance instead of telling them to shove off while the music was being performed. Why random people were allowed inside during the performance to a sold out show at all is beyond me.

Several times during the performance who I assume were staff walked in (they had keys to seemingly "staffy" areas), helplessly loud because of the wooden flooring and oblivious to how much of a disturbance they were causing.

The above made it very difficult to enjoy the music. To do so I had to fiercely concentrate on listening to the music while simultaneously shutting out all the noise from the staff and random riffraff who bumbled in. This was all very upsetting to me as the merc has supposedly held classical concerts before and intends to do so again? I am very happy that the establishment is hosting concerts of this type, but unless if aforementioned are not resolved I most certainly will not be attending any of them.

This theater presents a wide variety of music, drama, dance and more. It has a large theater that seats 365. The building in front of it, The Merc, seats about 45 and is perfect for cabaret, jazz, string quartets and comedy. It is also a free art gallery and the box office for both theaters.

First time to Old Town & we felt like this is exactly what we needed. We love the street fair atmosphere with the variety of shops, eateries & all the sports bars restaurants. We can't wait for it to be a little warmer & really be able to enjoy ourselves.

Never saw a bad show or event there. Tonight was legends of Las Vegas with local talent doing Tony Orlando, Cher, Sammy Davis Jr and Tom Jones. Fun! Plus it's a beautiful theater with no bad seats.

Loved this area of Temecula. This was my first time here, just passing by, and really liked the feel of the place. The people working at all the stores we stopped by were all really friendly and helpful, and seemed to go out of their way to try to help with whatever you needed. Definitely want to go back and also do a winery tour, which one of the very helpful store clerks recommended.

Found Old Town Temecula by accident 3yrs ago, while heading to San Diego. Just fell in love with the place! Nevermind San Diego! Every 6 months, this is our favorite place to go antique shopping, dining. Perfect mini vacation spot! Beautiful! We stay at the Ramada Inn and walk across the parking lot to Lienzo Charros for Happy Hour and great food!
