The food has gone down hill. I like crispy fried chicken, but the last time I got it it was so crispy, almost burned, it was uneatable. The meat was dry. Its been like this with everything I've ordered for the past 8 years. Shame. Will not ever order from them again.

We made a special trip to visit this place and it was well worth it. The staff was friendly and the building was amazing (I enjoy art deco style buildings) and the historical significance of this last if it's kind establishment is inspiring. The food brought back found memories of my childhood with classic southern dishes served by a friendly waitress that was as down home as the diner. I left with a full belly and a smile.

This is probably one of the best restaurants in town. I have been going here for years. They have always cared about quality and it shows through the top notch service and fresh tastes. Plus the price point is spot on. Definitely a must if you are looking for a more home cooked feel.

This place has awesome food, awesome service, and the price is too good to be true. My husband and I did good to finish our plates and the total price was half the price of other restaurants we have eaten at recently. And the quality of food there couldn't compare to Old South Restaurant. We will definitely be back to eat there many more times in the future.

Very good food. Ate there during down hours so service might have been half asleep especially when I brought the menus to the table. Food was terrific though and I do want to go back. Restaurant is on the NHP.

We stopped for dinner this evening and it was wonderful. It was very busy, but we were seated promptly. Our waitress and all the staff were very accommodating. The food was good, hot, and presented nicely. We'll be back.
