I am taking ice skating lessons, adult beginner. The instructors have been very nice and helpful. As well as encouraging me to try the next thing and get out of my comfort zone. The ice skate rental staff is friendly, but not all that helpful LOL. Cash only for vending machines and food. Haven't been for open skate so I'm not sure how they run that.

Great place for family to come and experience a winter activity all year long!

Good
- rentals are priced fairly and in good conditions
- student discounts accepted
- lots of activity no matter when we went
- lockers available for purchase ($0.50)
- great people/staff
- class are posted near lockers if you are interested

Negatives
- high traffic means Ice wears out quicker
- Food is over priced, hot chocolate was $2.50 for a small
- park lot is small for the high traffic

Overall this is a fun place to go! Especially if you have kids!

Side note: Not Pet Friendly

Edit: Recently found there is a less busy skating rink for the same company across town near Worthington.

The second rink guard from meltdown on 3/22/19 was extremely rude and kept singling out my son and his friends. Every rink guard except him is great but he is always very rude and uptight. Also shut down the benches 20 minutes before the skate ended and made up rules that only apply when he rink guards .

A really nice venue with friendly staff that are very helpful in getting the kids safely on the ice. Teaching the young children: they made it fun and very engaging. There are skate rentals and plenty of parking. It s very clean. Plenty of spectator seating. Wear warm clothes!

Staff did a wonderful job and handling our group, and every other group that came in. They were all knowledgeable, kind and easy to find when needed. We had a great experience with no complaints. There was a smell, but that's expected when there are many active children present.

I took my little cousin who is 7 years old ice skating which she was a little hesitant about because it was her first time. There was an employee; Matt I think who was incredibly helpful getting her to the ice. He took the time to take it step by step with her until she felt comfortable, walked her through some of the motions and even put her skates on for her. She ended up loving it and wants to go back! Thanks for the great experience today! We would definitely recommend.

My son and I have been coming here the past six months consistently and we love it! It's always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We registered for ice skating lessons January 2019 and it's been quite a unique experience, which I highly recommend. The ice skating instructors are very knowledgeable and teach ice skating in a professional manner. So glad we decided to do this!

The Chiller Easton is great place to play hockey at. The friendly staff does a great job here keeping the place running. The locker rooms could use some updating but overall they're sufficient. I seldom visit for open skates but they are reasonably priced, and depending on the time of day or week, they can be busy.

Good staff and good rinks, but their locker rooms are extremely small. Also, the ice was pretty soft when I played, I don't understand why rinks don't freeze their ice harder/colder...
They have two rinks.

Quick and easy service to get right onto the ice and skate!
Not too expensive either.
If you enjoy skating or are looking for a great date night idea, this is a great place!
The ice is very well kept up.
Friday nights don't even get too crowded that it's difficult to get around.
People of all skill sets are welcome and it is impossible to feel embarrassed if you aren't a great skater yourself.

I am taking a 7 and a 10 year old for lessons. Everyone from the snack counter to the front counter to the instructors are friendly and helpful. It definitely seems like they love their jobs! The first night was a little chaotic, but we figured it out. There needs to be more benches for changing into skates though, only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars.

We've spent a lot of time at this ice rink. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the instructors/coaches are top notch. There are two sheets of ice. One is mostly for hockey and the other hosts classes, figure skating and open public skates. The stands were removed about a year ago for some reason, so if you're going to watch a hockey game you will want to bring a chair.

Nice place and friendly staff, they do the temperature checks and all that jazz for COVID. But today we received 3 pairs of warped ice skates. First pair I couldn't even walk on, let alone skate. Second pair was fine for me. My partner ended up sizing down, and both pairs he got were warped. Visibly bending as he skated and they were properly and snuggly laced. I am disappointed in this experience

Awesome! I love this place, from Columbus originally but I live in the south now and I take my friends who ve never been skating here every time I visit. Very reasonable prices and close to Easton if you need a break for coffee or food.

Staff was nice and when my brother needed his skates sharpened, they did it for pretty cheap and very quickly. My trip there was great but their hours are annoying. I get that they need to have the rinks open for leagues and whatnot but it's annoying that they're only open to the public for a little over an hour on weekdays. Their public skating hours are available and easy to find on their website. Rink was freshly zambonied when we got there though one end of the rink has some chunks missing in the ice. Not a huge deal but I did catch my skate on them a few times. They also have skates in all sizes up to and including 14 (maybe higher, but I only needed 14). Helmets also available for free for skaters who are less experienced or want to be safer.

This is for the Chiller at Easton. I was with friend whose son played hockey, and there was a big game. Oooops! Someone got the wrong information, and we were supposed to be at the Chiller North. So we hopped back in the car and drove there. Ok, so why did I rank this so low? It's all about the "seating". They have 2 rinks that are separated by locker rooms and topped with a large, flat cement balcony. Now there's plenty of space to install 2 large sets of bleachers...each one facing a rink. But no. Oh, there's a random lonely chair up there and a bench or two, but NO real seating. It's been like this for 20 years or so. My daughter was an international figure skater for years, and I've never seen such a sad situation. It's like they're not serious about their business. BTW, Chiller North has good bleachers.

This is a great place to go skating. We go a couple times a year for scout skate nights and the youth and adults love it. I've been to both Easton and Lewis Center, both have been a great experience for all that came.
Note: prices in picture were current as of 12/27/18 for Easton. Check with Chiller for current and event prices

Same as Dublin Worst at Lewis Center

Same as Dublin Worst at Lewis Center

I love figure skating but I'm not crazy about the staff. A couple people are nice but overall most of them don't care and are very unprofessional and they let those same people go around and work other rinks. As long as the rude staff members stay away from me, I'm cool. I took my previous complaint with a staff member down and let it go. Understand tho that I will not tolerate bullying in any form
