Oglebay is a beautiful park whether you are looking for a day trip to enjoy with the family, the perfect picnic venue, a day at the pool, or a weekend away. The park is beautiful and well maintained and is a surreal experience to be a part of.
An absolutely wonderful place for families. Many activities and fun places to visit right on the campus for children and adults. Beautiful landscape to explore. Many walking paths. The staff was great. We stayed in the West Wing. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had one negative experience hence the 4 stars. The hospitality department ignored our many requests for a bed change due to an unfortunate accident. The front office made promises but we never received help. All in all, I would definitely visit again.

Oglebay is more than just a Resort! It's a park where you can Hike in the hills, paddle boat on the lake, good trails to explore the wild life, play golf & so much more ! We had a great day and we will be back!
Great place! While I ve only gone for the Christmas lights, it has plenty to offer and beautiful lights and landscaping around winter. Would highly recommend!
We love everything about Oglebay especially the Good Zoo. We visit quite often and always have a great time and learn or see something new everytime. Plenty of other activities and events to keep any family busy all summer long
Oglebay is a place near and dear to my heart. The staff are always pleasant. I think I first came here to the festival of lights with my family when I was ten years old. Here I am twenty eight years later doing the same thing with my wife. I have had a few massages in my life but I will say that the deep tissue massage I received at the west spa was the best I have ever had. I left the spa feeling like jello and proceeded to sleep for ten hours afterward. Woke up feeling like a new man. The food is average to good depending on whether you get breakfast or dinner. Though I will say I have noticed improvement in the past few years in food quality. So from me and my wife coming here for some pampering or me and my dad having bonfires outside, I can honestly say I love this place for what it is and what it hasn't become.
I absolutely love this place. We have been coming here for years and everything was perfect as usual. They always have family themed events. Their staff is professional and courteous. Their prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.
The Good Zoo is a fun place to come to, bring the kiddos and just have a real enjoyable time! Boo at the Zoo could have honestly gone a lot better! Not many animals out in their exhibits and the weather was a bit chilly too (we went on 10/24/20, but all in all, it was worthy every penny just to see my boys having a grand ole time and enjoying the day with smiles on their faces! What more could a Momma ask for!
Great place to have a meeting and stay overnight. Christmas time is especially beautiful. Stayed in the summer before too and at that time saw the zoo. Zoo was great too. There is also wildlife on the grounds.
