I have not been personally but have someone who is and from what I've experienced from someone on the sidelines it's a absolutely great program I was scared at first and seemed like it was never going to end nor work and some of there techniques seem far fetched but I'll tell you they work and ate brilliant and the staff there is the most nice helpful caring thankyou oddsey staff and what you have done for my family if we did not have this opportunity for this chance we might not have made it as a family but we are still going and stronger because of your amazing staff and program

I have been with the program for 15 months and making the decision to do so saved my life. I was deathly ill with a infection in my heart I was on iv antibiotics while in treatment and it didn't take . I had to have emergency heart surgery. Odyssey house held my bed while I was in the hospital and allowed me to come back and recover from open heart surgery . I was broken physically and mentally they showed me the way to a better way of life. It's a very difficult program and if you're willing to put in the work to change your life they will give you all the support and tools to make it happen .

I am still very new to this program, i would like to say it has been a great light in my life. It may or may not be a hard decision to make to go to a treatment center & this is like no other. Its not easy, but the gratification of having a therapeutic family/community is a great feeling. Having this as support has been the greatest thing.
I wouldn't be sober without the support if this community & staff. If you are on the fence of where to go. Choose here, you wont regret it.

This place changed my life! I will forever be thankful for the staff and facilities. The tools they taught me and the behaviors they helped me change are real and i am great full everyday for my new life.

The difference in my life i have personally experienced.... Well its difficult too use simple words to express the amount of change that has taken place since becoming a client. 2 years ago i was homeless an iv user with no friends no family and absolutely no support. I now have an incredible support system. A good job. A home. A vehicle. Insurances i didn't even know what insurance was. Needless to say a life changing program with people who genuinely care

Odyssey house gave me my Freedom back.. in more ways than one. Instead of being sent to prison, I was offered to go to Odyssey house inpatient treatment in November 2020. I had heard so many negative comments from people about this program, so I was anything but grateful & did not see this as an opportunity- but as a punishment. I went through the inpatient treatment center, and then was helped with 3 months of sober living at no cost to get back on my feet, and started outpatient with odyssey to transition back into society. Today I have my own place to live, a car that I own, a year free from drugs & alcohol, and most valuable, I have a network of peers & therapists that support me & care about me. I am not only free from the legal system- I am free from my addiction, I am free from stress, anxiety, despair, and hopelessness.

I will always be grateful for Odyssey House for bringing my child back to me. Millcreek treatment center helped my person, recenter and become sober and more like the person I always have known. The family therapy helped me look at myself and my own enabling. I always went to visit. Listened to the complaints about being there. All that mattered, it was one more day, this person was sober. The longer they are there, the better chance, they will stay sober. If they can make it in there, they can make it. It depends how bad someone seriously, has had enough and wants to be sober.
There is also a group meeting once a week for family members, loved ones that need the support to be able to know when to stand up for ourselves or just to be able to vent or talk to people that understand that have been there.
I now have my best friend that is a successful married adult and I am a grandma! Before Odyssey House, I probably would of been planning the funeral instead of the wedding. Thank You God, Thank You Odyssey House.

I have a story of struggle. Intense emotional difficulty, failure to endure life on life's terms and a sense of self worth that was fatal to success. I needed help. I needed real help. People that could be consistent and persistent. It was the hardest thing I have ever done.It never got easier. BECAUSE LIFE IS NOT EASY.
I was given tools to try. Help in learning to use them. Unconditional support and resources to rebuild my life and undo decades of damage. Its not fast or fun it takes time and effort but your worth every ounce of struggle

Odyssey house has provided a great support system and dose a great job at helping you dig deeper into your values you have for yourself along with life.
This type of work is never easy but learning to be accountable for your actions really does help you move forward in life and learn lessons.

I was a self admit, no where to go, unable to quit on my own. Odyssey helped me so so much. Yes it's difficult to change your life, but if you want it and have a small amount of hope. This place will surely be with you the entire way. Everyone is very dedicated to each person coming through. Super involved, lots of structure, and very very thorough after care plans.
It's really the best treatment center I've been through. And I've been through a few. I have been sober the longest I've ever been, which is almost 4 years! Thank you Odyssey House. I'm eternally grateful!
