Excellent staff and the course is typically in really good condition. Great course for all kinds of golfers.

CREDIT CARDS and DEBIT CARDS may show "City of Madison Fire Department" as the company charging you for swiping at a City Golf Course, until they fix their POS system error. Just FYI. I cancelled my cards; then the Fire Department called me back to tell me about this current issue, and that both parties are working on it. Keep golfing at Odana Hills! And don't cancel the cards if you don't have to!

Odana hills has a wonderful winter program for cross country skiing. Rentals are quick, clean, and in good condition!
The trails give a variety of options, and even though I was out on a weekend afternoon, it wasn t too crowded.
I would highly recommend skiing as a group activity!

The course is in pretty good shape for early April. Few other golfers made for a very pleasant and relatively quick round. We played the back nine and I was surprised 15 wasn t wetter. Really no standing water anywhere. I ll take that for a Wisconsin spring. Greens are in great shape. Get out and play! No inside seating made us move our post round analysis to nearby Vintage.

Best Madison parks golf course. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Favorite course to play.

Always a great time at Odana. Course is well maintained even if the anti-golf city government keeps trying to turn it into a park.

Odana Hills is my absolute go to for a UW student who does not have access to a car on campus. 18 awesome holes, a solid driving range and practice putting green, and a fantastic staff (shoutout to Colin at the front desk; always a G). It definitely can get slow on the weekends especially but I've never had problems finishing 9 in less than 90 minutes late afternoon weekdays. The pictures on Google or their website don't do this place justice. It's obviously no country club but for a local muni, it's really solid. Can't forget to mention its very score-able.
