Oceanside Gospel Lighthouse Church Review

The best!! So inspirational from staff to congregation! You feel welcome from the time you walk up to the church. They have two services, traditional and contemporary. I enjoy the second service, contemporary, and the praise and worship leader, Basilio is high energy which is so refreshing, even ending a few services here and there with music that gets us up in celebration! Donuts and coffee between first and second service and after second service. Great fellowship, programs,and Bible studies at church and in surrounding community.

Good place to pick up the couple nighters if you don t mind a bit physically challenged- misaligned body parts to say. Sermon is ok for ferry tale to put up with couple hours to get over hang over. It s pandemic and the their doors are closed as are the bars. But bars paid taxes and the churches that didn t are getting bailed out. That s the Christian spirit.

Senior Minister Mike Openshaw is great teacher of the word at lighthouse Christian church, and during these uncertain times are so fortunate to have a Big beautiful patio for him to continue to teach. Come fill your soul and gaze at the beautiful view

Friendly atmosphere. ! You learn a lot of things. Beautiful church. They treat you like brothers and sisters... I love to attend every sunday...The Pastor is excellent!!!

The pastor here is super nice and caring. The people that attend this church are friendly and caring. It's a good church. Not too big and not too small.

Lighthouse stands out for the friendliness of the members and the ease with which one can get involved. The preaching is solid. Free donuts out on the patio after services! They make it easy to find a small group to join for getting deeper and more personal. Two services each Sunday morning, 8:45 and 10:30am.

This is an incredibly strong and loving church; no small accomplishment after 26+ years serving SoCal!

Attended a memorial here. It was lovely. Facility is clean and church is comfortable. Seems like a lovely place to worship. I know some of the people that attend. They're faith is attractive. This tells me this church teaches the word. If I wasn't already in a church close to home that teaches the Bible well, I'd try this church out.

Great church and amazing staff. Definitely makes you feel welcomed. Love that they still have a kids spotlight time since there isn't any indoor kids program right now due to covid. Keeps them involved.

What a wonderful church experience any time but especially during thr Covid-19 pandemic. The services are held outdoors with Hand-Sanitizer stations, chairs placed for social distancing, compulsory mask-wearing and signs to explain why there is to be no hugs or handshakes. The service was lovely, the message was inspirational and the pastor exhibits God's unconditional love! There are many options - chairs in groups of 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6, covered sun ports, lawn chairs for grassy areas & a car park close by for contact-less listening.
